Exactly my point, I just hope others see that point as well. Right now crypto is a money maker because it has to establish faith amongst the people it is trying to get to use it. Years down the road once the crypto hype dies down and the ole faithfuls are chosen it will serve more so for its intended purpose which is as a form of currency. I am not saying doge will 100 percent be one of those cryptos chosen but with the limited experience I have I think it is a solid bet for gains with the current events. Not saying I don't think others are as well.

That's unfortunately true for all crypto currencies that haven't solved the transaction fee problem.
If DOGE was used as an actual currency, TX fees would skyrocket.
The cost of storing every minuscule purchase in a distributed ledger is simply too high. Increasing block size and frequency isn't sufficient to scale to the demands of an everyday currency .
A second layer, like Bitcoin's or Litecoin's Lightning network, can solve this problem.

It's unlikely to crash significantly. 10k doge is a decent amount but what is it now, 700$? Even if you lose like half (which I think is very unlikely), 350$ is not a huge amount of money.
