Obama, you are my greatest ally.

>the economy is doing great
>greatest debtor nation in history must spend $600M on what will be close to 1000 jobs

authoritarian logic

Any issue can be fixed by throwing other people's money at it.

I am tired of all the spending but do agree the country should start focusing on apprenticeships. We don't need to spend $600 million to do it though.

You realize this is so booqueshia can get that subsidized job at the call center. This won't affect you if you have an education, white skin, or a work ethic

The degree system replaced the apprenticeship system. Which would be fine except in the latter people don't know how to use the education they actually did get because they thought the objective was the degree and not the actual education. Apprenticeships didn't have this problem because it was an obvious connection that what you were learning was directly applied to your job. Note that every plebian on a government grant goes to school they don't understand the difference between education and a degree, which to use and when, and that they should be trying to get both instead of just getting a degree.

>THANKS OBAMA

maybe now the fucking "no one will hire me" threads will stop

>> No.283676

tbh though a massive infrastructure updating end to end would create enough jobs and fix out crumbling cities roads and bridges

ffs look at detroit and new orleans

we also had protectionism in place for hundreds of years that is now completely gone. Pretty silly to think that labor will mean anything if you have to compete with billions of indians.
