Only things I noted:
1. During Step 5 - 1. when you will transfer your avax, from your Cchain on metamask, they put a picture of "Cross Chain" menu, you have to switch to the "Send" menu.
2. If you play it a bit safe, you'll try to send a small amount first.
But then, when you'll try to do the second transaction with more avax, you'll have to refresh the avax wallet for your balance to refresh too. Else the max it will tried to send is your former balance, and so it will failed telling you you don't have enough funds.
