if you cash out at 80% of the bullrun and you're wrong, you're only missed out on 20% of your gains. but if you hold on for too long and you try to time it, you can lose way more. and it's really important to have a stack so you can make bets during the next bull market.

If you don't have much to invest with, you can buy something safe and consistent like ETH, GRT, DOT, AVAX and DCA (dollar-cost average) in. You can diversify to help lower risk if one shits the bed. Just stick to major exchanges with percentage-based fees (Coinbase Pro, Binance, Kraken, etc.) if you don't have much money otherwise gas fees will eat away at your wallet.

Most importantly, do your own research because you know your own financial situation and what level of risk you want to take on. Check out the white paper, the dev team, the locked liquidity, the top wallets, etc. You should research and feel confident in your investments so you don't just panic sell as soon as it dumps and so you aren't just FOMO'ing into the giant green dildo.

What would you do if you only had a few hundred dollars to start out, now? What's the best strategy these days - is it mostly DeFi and staking new shit, or is it just buying and selling memecoins day-trader style etc... what's a good way to go with a few hundred to invest into this and turn that into the big cash over time provided you don't get too greedy or do anything too stupid?

Also, hell I'll ask here since you've got some Tether and I was recently stupid enough to transfer some earnings into it (from a regular currency ) just to "save", without realizing it requires ETH to either exchange it or transfer it to another wallet. Got like $300 in Tether or so, but no way to get it out! I transferred some scraps into ETH in order to get Gas to move around the Tether (something like $18 worth of ETH) but its like my wallet (Edge) doesn't "see" the ETH so it keeps claiming it can't move the Tether because it needs ETH and etc. Also it doesn't tell me how much ETH is necessary in fees to move the USDT. I just want to either shift the USDT to my Metamask wallet to fuck around with DeFi shit or exchange it for other currencies (Edge has built in exchanging through a variety of places). Its like my damn money is "locked up" in USDT and I can't get it out which is pissing me off. TThanks.

I threw all my coins out last night when they called his majesty, lord george floyd and his fellow former slave brothers and sisters “niggers.”

I’m still crying to be honest.
To imagine tarnishing saint floyds innocent name like that. He was a man of peace — you saw his gold coffin, but I bet you didn’t see the inside pictures of his capped and blinged out teef! All pladnumm an diemonns. It wuz byootiful an he deserved that sheeit!

Id say no. I feel like you can make the same if not more money in stocks and crypto without all the stress, plus stocks and crypto are more liquid. Housing is harder to liquidate. But that’s just me. I don’t like to be so hands on and personal with my investments with things

The lockdowns have been a blessing, honestly. All of my classes going online gave me enough time to start looking into a few projects. Mostly in on LTO. I've watched everything I've sold or traded pump immediately after so I agree, just buy and hodl

It appears like a legit project, despite receiving some disliking by some /biz/raelis

I would definitely say it is a long-term investment (you don't want to sell). They are a platform for other cryptocurrencies and their nodes seem to be growing much faster than their competition Polkadot.

Not to mention that Emin Gün Sirer, a Cornell University professor, is heavily involved in the project, adding to it's potential and legitimacy.

Anon, once you sell at the top of this cycle are you done for good or will you buy back in at the bottom? is 1m BTC a meme? is crypto gonna die after another crash? obviously im gonna take what you say with a grain of salt but im interested to know your opinion

This is harder to explain and more just based off experience. There are cultish times in a market where there is no ounce of fear and everyone believes they are unstoppable. 2017 that feeling lasted about two weeks and anyone who could recognize it knew it was time to sell. When there is no more fear in the market is the top pretty much. Right now we are somewhere between belief and greed/thrill phase imo
