The price is high because people are holding/buying still. Pre-pump it was at like 30, all the attention from normies might keep it above 30 for a while longer(no idea on how long)

I'd imagine their best course of action would have been to slowly closing shorts and not do it all at once like reddit wants. If they shorted at 300 they will make profit if they sell at 50.
Redditers have been claiming the price went down because of "short latter attacks" besically shorting to make the price go down and if that's true, even when the report drops and there is a high interest, we don't know if that's from the 300 shorts or the 30 shorts.

I don't think there is going to be a squeeze and people that do are too optimistic, it might go between 40-70 dollars, but I don't see it ever going to 100 or above again(keep in mind a lot of the current holders are people that bought at 300+).
I doubt they are just going to dump all shorts at once, it will be a drizzle over time because that's the smarter thing to do then play chicken with retards.
