It's basic FUD from linkies and other retarded portfolio.

IOTA is considered the end game of crypto. It'll let people trade cryptos with absolute no Gas fees AND let people store data with IOTA's code.

DESU what they are working on is HARD, like HARD HARD, but it's slowly starting to get adopted by several countries searching for these types of technologies.

And DESU XRP is today's biggest scam of the TOP 50, and I'm holding it. So invest in Iota and enjoy the next 5 years holding it until it is worked on and it explodes out of nowhere.

iota is completely different from 2017. read about it. since cfb is gone, its going much more better. and hans moog is king. hes just brilliant in what hes doing at the iota foundation.

The original role of Popov was apparently to provide a smokescreen for people like you who think that just because some math is involved everything is legit.
He was hired after the system had already been built, and then wrote up a lot of statistical reasoning that was completely meaningless to the real world because it was based on unrealistic modeling assumptions.
There is no reason to believe that he went from "that smokescreen dude" to being a revolutionary consensus designer who can justify the billion $ market cap that was based on their false pump and dump marketing.
Prior to Popov you called CfB a "legitimate genius" for building that crappy original system, now the fact that they are dumping his system as well as all of those other genius level IOTA innovations like "quantum proof" signatures and trinary and their wallet are the best features you can come up with.

IOTA is a cleverly designed scheme with lots of smokescreens, so I do not expect you to understand this, but if you search the archives you'll find the remaining traces of at least 4 or 5 incidents where the projects leaders literally confiscated tokens from users under the pretense of having to "protect" them because of some bug.
The fact that the IOTA founders have pulled an enormous amount of tokens out of circulation using this scheme explains many things, such as the recurring theme of "what happend to my funds, why is my balance 0, why is my money gone" on IOTA forums which you never see in any other coin's forum because no coin has such a crazy scam scheme.
You can also look into how they designed their various PnDs like the Microsoft announcement in 2017, or you can look into the history of Sonstebo and CfB with Jinn as well as various other PnD links.
It is obvious that the origins of this project are rotten to the core, but it is indeed true that they hired 100s of people around that core who think that they're building something legitimate. And maybe eventually something legitimate will come out of it but that seems doubtful because it has always mostly been based on lies.

I'll chime in. CFB wasn't afraid to go scorched earth and leak private conversations, feel free to check out CFB's and hund_research's twitter. These conversations go several years back. The fact of the matter is that the genesis of Iota is the vehicle for CFB and David's "stealth startup", JINN.

CFB is no dummy, he invented POS. That said, some of his ideas (ternary, WOTS, etc.) are straight up idiotic. Combine that with false hype (Announcing Qubic when there is nothing to show for it, Microsoft partnership, etc.) and missed deadlines, I don't really blame anyone avoiding Iota.

With CFB and David gone, the development team set a clear vision that I personally think is in the right direction. Considering how expensive gas fees are these days, I think people will find Iota very appealing.

Considering how much will come to fruition in the next few months, any speculator should give Iota a serious look.
