I've dabbled in crypto, but I'd like to make a serious investment now. I'm looking at dropping $10k into coins to stake, and I'm looking at projects with good prospects over the next 6 months to two years. I'm really liking ADA and DOT. Any others I should be considering? Cheers lads.

It's literally the worst time to start with Crypto. Everything is either artificially pumped or in its own little bubble.

Any money you drop right now will be gone by the end of the year.

This is something I've been concerned about. This bubble is going to burst soon - but with this latest stunt from Elon I think it's going to burst a lot sooner. Weeks, probably. That being said, I'm not going to be FOMO'ing in. I'm trying to research decent projects that actually have potential and viability. Once this bubble bursts, any and all crypto is going to get fucked up the arse and that's when I'm going to buy in. Until then, I'm researching projects with good mid to long term upside because of legitimate usefulness and inherent value in the project.
