farming is just using the blockchain in certain way - there are various protocols that allow you gathering their crypto for depositing your crypto inside (for example liquidity with the protocol's token making it more stable, liquid)

It's the only way we're able to sustain the business model of sophisticatedly dumping ETH into LPs via market purchasing a scarce asset, if it wasnt there we would get ETH whale dumped and fucked. That being said, it's been acknowledged as a stop gap by the team, just not one they're in a rush to remove as it's a long term project which is so far delivering on very demanding terms of engagement.
