That retail work most obviously translates into retail management, but there’s also things like logistics/accessioning in non-retail jobs where it would apply, or customer service, or hospitality. Expand your search and make different resumes to mesh with the keywords on the job apps. Don’t limit yourself to more retail. I seriously treated it as a full time job during the day and did delivery/Amazon on the nights/weekends.
