It's not hard to get a lot of PND right now and the infrastructure for mining it sure is excellent. But new potential miners probably don't see a reason why they should get a lot of PND instead of the alternatives.

The 4chan tipbot is one distinct service of the coin but it isn't used outside of this thread and I'm not sure if it is ready in its current implementation for that as users would still require a wallet. Now the biggest market for tipping on 4chan are the boards that provide original content, and most of them probably won't bother to figure out wallets AND the user script - as easy as it may seem to people from /g/.
There is another effect of tipping that isn't currently being shown by the tipbot but is pretty essential: The amount that was tipped and optionally the person tipping (which kind of contradicts the anonymity of 4chan, but so do permanent namefriends).

I guess, unless you'd have the tipbot server generate a unique id through the script for every new post to put in the email field which when clicked by the donator generates a new address on the tipbot server's wallet which is then internally redirected to the user's wallet. That would make sense to automatically maintain anonymity* without the user having to manually change the email field.
