Nasdaq was worth 5 trillion when the dotcom bubble popped, all that value derived from the business the internet had taken away from traditional business that went online like mail services, newspapers, tv and films, telecommunications, and a few more, those businesses were certainly huge but compare that to the businesses blockchain will disrupt.

First of all there is banking, which on itself is largest that all the industries the internet disrupted. Then you have legal services, registries, contracts, intellectual and property rights. Then you have insurance and international trade two industries that will be totally disrupted by the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. And who knows how many more..

You have to be pretty stupid not to realize that this a multi trillion dollar industry that is just starting and that will make a lot of people rich.
