So, assuming you had nothing but 3 eggs a day, and thats all you spent your silver on, then like 3.5 years, thats pretty insane.
Though obviously you wont only eat 3 eggs a day, and you would buy other things, so I would say that 1/4-1/2 a year is a closer estimate, assuming you spent your money pretty scarecely.

Venezuela is a pretty extreme case because they essentially backed themselves into a corner by trying to nationalize every single part of their economy and dislodging the experts who knew how to run the business with smoothbrains loyal to Chavez. It's unlikely that even in a total currency failure situation in the US that we have that level of supply chain/production breakdown, so I think it wouldn't be a one-to-one comparison.

It's sad, really. Venezuela is such a beautiful country and I'd like to visit again some day, but at this point it's essentially out of bounds for anybody.

most of the worlds tin miners are based out of China and operate in east asia. There was a placer tin mine in New Zealand which also produced platinum but its in reconstruction mode to access deeper deposits. North Korea recently stopped all tin mining due to difficulties with placer mining there. No Canadian tin mines currently exist as far as I know, and no new major Cassiterite deposits have been discovered since the 1960s.

Indonesia, China, and Peru are the largest tin producers. No idea on specific miners though.

That probably means its coming out of the bigger companies mining things like copper, zinc etc or from no name placer projects under the table. Thats the main source of the metal in east asia. I know i should probably get on them but I've been holding off and thinking of gold and silver, premiums are terrible for them.
I did get an ounce of platinum though, I wouldn't doubt it going up to 1500 or 1700 looking at its chart. Many people think its on its way out because of electric cars not needing it but hybrids still need platinum, and i think they use it in larger amounts. The silver gains are going to be a lot bigger probably but i didn't want to miss the potential platinum train.

>The metal’s supply is unusually concentrated, with South Africa producing around 75 per cent of the world’s newly mined platinum. As a result, any economic or political turbulence in the region may cause a supply disruption, determining the metal’s prices.

Betting on platinum is a hedge against Africa, do you think they'll do better or worse mining it this year compared to others? The less africa mines the more it's worth.

Here in BC if you only want to pan for fun you dont need anything, but you can only use a pan pick and shovel. Everything else requires a Free Miners License and permits. Each project or action you want to do requires a different scaled permit. For example if you just want to hand mine with a sluice / highbanker you dont need a bond or permit but you need the license and a claim to work on. Any mechanical mining with machines requires at least a 5k bond, a 5k water license and a few other basic permits. The bigger you go the bigger the bonds get. Mine for next year are going to be in the 25-30k zone, but if I clean up when I am done I get the money back.

So for panning here you dont need anything. In the US the laws are similar but not the same, google is you friend for different state rules.

At some point cheapie will turn into sleepy (sleep of death)
Eventually the price will be suppressed for so long that it will have no hope of capturing the public consciousness and becoming currency again. Same with hyperinflation. If the Great Reset ultimately happens and all the population control and economic activity suppression lockdowns and smart meter 5G tech gets implemented, hyperinflationary collapse will never happen.

You need to dig deep into your heart and decide whether you want to enter Great Reset eternal prison planet world with a bigger stack because you "had more time to stack cheapie" or enter a post collapse world with a smaller stack but no Great Reset. This is what the silver squeeze is about. Buy silver at any price. Don't wait for prices to go back down so you can stack cheapies. Silver is gold on steroids.

Not only is it a store of value/medium of exchange that has been used for thousands of years. It is also antibacterial and has a myriad of industrial purposes. Not only that it is extremely undervalued. In a world where gold is $10000 USD I can see silver at $1000 USD and that is at current USD buying power. When faith in the dollar collapses measuring silver in USD terms would be like trying to throw a dart at a car going 500 kilometers a hour.

885,000,000 / 7,600,000,000 = 0.11

Now if you take into industrial uses, jewelry uses that is over 50% of current demand

Every single fiat currency is history has collapsed for one reason or another. The USD isn't special, it has already lose more then 95% of it's value since 1917.

America is quickly devolving into a socialist state run economy, this will decrease production in America and as a resort of more money chasing less goods it will cause prices to go up. If the government tries to put price controls in place black markets will be set up where the real USD price will be paid for products.

It took hundreds of years for Roman currency to debase to being worth nothing. For America it only took a couple of decades.

Tell me how successful the US war on drugs were. Do you really think that the US can stop people from accessing food? If the currency expands massively and alot of it is chasing food, and due to socialist policy production is reduced then more money will be chasing less food. Even if the government sets price controls and rations it will not stop the free market.

Any Swedes in here? Most analysis is done on the actions of the Fed and the ECB but I have read comparatively few discussions on the actions of the Swedish Riksbank and the continuous monetary debasement here. Let me give a brief overview..

The Swedish Riksbank is at the very core of the globohomo central banking movement and is a strong influence on the others as it is the oldest central bank in the world.

We have lived for 5 YEARS on negative interest rates and shit is getting SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE and salaries are not being adjusted at all. I seriously do not understand how normies are not waking up to this bullshit, every single one I speak with tells me that real estate will always go up and that borrowing 90% of the value of a shit-tier condo in Stockholm with variable 3-month interest rate terms is a good financial decision.

Of course no one in this country owns and gold or silver, so I suspect when this finally explodes nobody will be prepared for it.

Best way to stack silver/gold?

Should I get 100 1oz coins then start larger amounts (ie. 1k or 100oz)?

With that being said, the governor of our central bank while pursuing a negative interest rate policy is also seemingly quite supportive of the gold standard (see pic related) which is quite unlike the swamp creatures at the Fed or the ECB. He has been quoted saying that "gold is the only kind of money that is not simultaneously a liability to someone else" when asked why our central bank still maintains a gold reserve.

Why he wants to do QE-infinity is beyond me though. Maybe hyperinflating the debt away and returning to the gold standard is a legitimate plan that is being pursued right now. Maybe backing the CBDC that they are releasing soon with gold is something that can happen. I don't have my hopes up though.

Also getting into silver is much cheaper (although not at the moment.) Wait for premiums to go down and buy in sensible amounts. Interestingly, Sweden has the oldest central bank in the world. Sweden going with the "herd immunity" reaction to the ronahoax is also consistent with Sweden being a test subject set apart from the rest of the world. 5 years negative interest rates too

About CBDC backed by gold, I don't think that's something we want. If you don't hold it you dont own it.

It's under valued because most people don't even think of ever owning silver. If EVERY single person in the world stacked, or at the very least everyone in the West tried to stack it would obviously be impossible.

Estimates are that only 1 or 2% of people in the West stack

I'm not sure about this country being a testing ground, although I can see it. I'd mostly blame pathologic Swedish exceptionalism whereby we always have to do something completely different from the rest of the world and disregard the opinions of people from outside our borders.

That's what I'll be exploring next I think. No clue where to even find junk silver in aus but I feel it's pretty unexplored here.

Sweden is where most of the Jesuits and Knights of Malta live. That's why they sit every war out and are very well fortified.

1:100 was recommended because the GSR was literally around 1:100 months ago. I'd suggest to stack near the current ratio instead (maybe 1:75)

It looks like the 1966 half dollar is your only coin that you might accidentally see in circulation. But some of your predecimal coins from 1910-64 have silver content. Your fellow Australians might have to chime in because I am in burgerland.

Why. Why is this so infallible to you? What makes the US Dollar this unstoppable force that can never die? It's backed by nothing but the country's $29T debt that will never be paid off and will only grow. We're printing it at an unprecedented rate. Over 20% of all USD were printed last year alone, and we have a government hellbent on cock measuring with the previous administration by telling us how much MORE they'll print than the last batch.

'Why can't it fail' seems to be a more difficult question than 'how it can fail'.

Its soul crushing seeing uranium stocks going up but not having the fund to invest in them because you still need to take positions in silver stocks. Sad. Need another 4k$ so 4 month to get into DV, LIO, CCW and BLLG.

Far more than that. Once the 1.9T stimulus package get voted, we'll reach almost 50% of all USD printed in the past 12months.
We are entering the post-clown era. Only the retardest of retards still hold cash at this point.

I agree that they are printing money, but they are smarter than to let it cause hyperinflation. They will make sure they only spend their printed stolen dollary doos at a rate that will never cause hyperinflation. They aren't going to set price controls to keep hyperinflation from happening because price controls don't work; they will use unprecedented technototalitarian methods of control to regulate every part of life.
