Apollo Protocol is gonna be huge. Other projects know. Institutions know. Biz hasn't put it together yet, but I don't blame anon considering the volume of meme coins, rugpulls, and rubic spam.

gdp is manipulated by the government even easier than fiat is (as it can go both ways). jeff is a retard.

If fiat doesnt have a relationship to goods and services then why should crypto? It's all speculative.

AOX isn't just pegged to GPD; this comic is irrelevant. It's the top 7 currencies, top 7 GDPs, and top 7 physical assets. i.e. a perfect hedge against inflation.

>>27848797
Inflation is a thing, but if you think fiat means currency doesn't have a relationship to goods and services I'm not sure you're going to understand any of this. Anyways Apollo is crypto collateralized.

The growth token is pegged to the global economy + is subject to buy/sell pressure so it is volatile from both ends. It collateralizes the stablecoin, which is protected from volatility by the third shares token.

>>27849082
You forgot to mention that each of the assets is weighted by growth and decay.

Unfortunately their growth token isn't decoupled from the stable token so there is no guarantee of stability in the long run.

Maybe I am a brainlet. I don't claim to be otherwise.
But all I know is that trillions were pumped in to the economy last year and nothing happened.

We're all brainlets here fren. In my opinion, the way AOX is pegged to a diverse basket that's weighted by growth/decay, it's protected from the effects of one single nation doing shit like that to their currency.

That whole basket is normalized to $1, a peg which moves as the world economy does. So while AOY is stable to a single currency, AOX is a hedge against inflation.

>> No.27851599

>>27851367
If the basket peg is normalised to $1 how does that make it any different to just being pegged to $1

At the heels of the second great depression, for which BTC and crypto is hoped to be a hedge? What am I missing here?

>> No.27851880

>>27848583
xrp already does this. just wait until its pegged to the price of gold

>> No.27852168

>>27851599
The peg moves with the value of its underlying assets. Starting at $1 makes it a good comparison to fiat currency alone- e.g. inflation happens and suddenly the peg is $1.20, triggering a postive rebase.

That + market forces means AOX is MEANT to be volatile... which is kind of funny because the model is about as stable as current seigniorage tokens.

The true stability is with AOY.

>> No.27852375

>>27852168
I thought the starting peg was $1.06? Sorry I'm a brainlet

>> No.27852415

>>27851831
probably the whitepaper, fren. It will be crypto collateralized for one thing.

For another, a depression could tank the basket of assets and all it would mean is that the peg for AOX would move sharpy, triggering a fuckload of action that feeds more collateral to AOY and AOZ, and strengthens the system.

Then the economy starts growing again, and AOX permalockers enjoy cashing in the coupons they earned when it was below the peg.

>> No.27852523

>>27852375
I think AOX and AOZ are both launching at $1 but I could be wrong, sorry am also brainlet. I'd ask the team in TG to be sure.
