I think the question is going to be whether ETH 2 can launch before avax, dot, ada, and others get to widespread adoption.

Right now my money is still on ETH because we've seen this story play out already with BTC. Everyone said fees were too high and that it was a failure, but now look at how well it's done. there's not really any legitimate competition left. I think that ETH likely follows this same path. It has issues, but network effects carry it across the line.

I would only be worried about dot right now because they are doing a good job of building incentives on their network. At the same time though acquisitions through incentives aren't as sticky as true adoption. Plus DOT is preaching interoperability so it's not purely competitive. We will just have to see how it all shakes out but I would still bet on eth if I had a gun to my head.

>I think the question is going to be whether ETH 2 can launch before avax, dot, ada, and others get to widespread adoption.
