>>27791365>these are the people buying grt Lmao what a shitcoin
>>27791365Please lurk for 3 more years before posting new fag.
https://mcdcoin.finance/Historically, GRT is a pump and dump. Hate to break it to you folks, but it is. These are the facts. People saying it isn't, you're on the wrong side of the data. The entire market is being run by trade bots. Large GRT tokens have been already allocated to holders, way before GRT even hit the exchange platforms, because of testnet operations (before mainnet).I estimate each token to be valued at 0.30-0.35 maximum until larger companies want to use it, which currently they don't, because it is too expensive too. ETH is expensive, in general, to use anyway. With that being said, GRT is a utility token which means the price has to remain low for companies to even want to use it. It is just the way it is right now.
>>27791454The more retards buying this the better
>>27791353Good. Dump them all. Send all the FOMO faggots scurrying out like the cockroaches they are, leaving their bags behind for cheap.
>>27791353you don't have as to what the fuck you are talking about. 2 billion tokens are already locked up by delegation and indexers.
>>27791365It costs energy on the Ethereum blockchain. So think of it as “digital” gas to pay for “transporting” your data, I.e your money
>>27791454so fucking what? everybody counts in crypto. not just trannies like you with your trust fund money.
>>27791443There’s a release schedule and you’re a fool to think the current price isn’t solely due to the fact that supply is low because most coins are delegated. Once the supply ducking multiplies by 8 no shit the price will drop to reflect thisThis is a short term play and if you don’t sell before the next coin dump you’re a retard

>>2779218310$ if the entire crypto market stays at its current state. If there's a massive influx and general altcoin pump then it could go well beyond that.
>>27792465I haven’t used any of the calculators posted so can’t tell you a specific return rate Also i was wrong - I have 11k staked:6.7K - p2p org4.5k - protofire.eth I’ve had them staked I guess 2 weeks and have 62.43 returnI do plan on leaving it for a couple years staked so hopefully with the compunding interest gods on my side I’ll have a fat stack to sell some years down the line
>>27792574This bullrun has to end some day, probably a few months>>27792792Do you pay gas to keep your stake delegated after the 28 days? Trying to figure out if staking a small 3-5k stack is even worth it.
>>27792792I will fud myself again - I almost regret staking because I have to imagine the price will plummet before next coin releaseRegardless I’m in for the long haul and am dropping a few hundred every other week into crypto. If it goes down next coin release I’ll probably buy and delegate and keep doing that, while buying Bitcoin and link and eth every time it dips
>>27793040>I have to imagine the price will plummet before next coin releaselook up the coin history of Solana. Very analogous>protip: it didn't dump. it pumped.
>>27792959I went full retard and delegated at two different times - for the amounts mentioned above. The delegation of both lots cost me 30 dollars each. So at this point 2 weeks later I made up for gas fees at current price. As far as I know gas fees apply to delegate and then undelegate? If this is the case, I would pay off my gas fees within a little over a month. I would recommend trying to bolster your stack a bit and delegate them all In one go and not split them up like I stupidly did.I think anything over 7-8k is a no brainer to delegate. At 5k it’s worth it if you’re willing to let it sit for a couple years

>>27782571$1 is nothing. I picked up 50k GRT this week and am expecting it to climb up to three figures in the next few years. Never fucking selling. This thing is going to fund my living expenses before I'm forty. Feels good to get in early on a legit project for once. Don't let anyone FUD you out. This thing is a LONG TERM hold. Don't swing it. Delegate and stack it. Once we hit mass adoption, people are going to be shocked that you have more than a thousand. If you can, try to get a lot more than that.Remember: Everyone is going to be locking up their tokens in delegation. Liquidity will be low, and demand hasn't even fucking started. Imagine: You come back to this forum in six months when the queries are picking up. Everyone on biz finally gets it and starts buying.Imagine: A year from now, all of these corporations that Saylor shilled to at his conference have adopted blockchain tech and integrated into a variety of products and services. They all need interoperable queries, and there's one game in town. This boat is leaving the port. Your only choice is whether to be in business class, economy class, or waiting at the dock without a ticket. Let's fucking go.

>>27796450You said it would be $1.60 EOY. Do you realize just how fucking retarded that opinion is? $10 is more realistic than $1.60. GRT will easily be $1.60 by April
>>27796755It’s hard to tell, this fucker has a slow upward crab
>>27796776>source: dude just trust me bro
FWIW even a penny will be worth $1.00 EOY
>>27796873Source is use your fucking brain stupid faggot. WE ARE HITTING $1 AND ITS FEBRUARY. If you think this shitcoin is going to only go up a measly 60 cents between now and the end of the fucking year you should sell your whole stack immediately, you don't deserve the gains you're about to make.
>>27796450No, asshole, you're the one who's wrong. The value of the token doesn't need to be suppressed for the utility to be preserved. Indexers can charge fractional GRT for their services. If GRT does a 5x, indexers can take their rates down to 20%. Devs have confirmed. There is no player in the ecosystem who benefits from lower prices. So (and I have to guess what your reasoning is because you've conspicuously declined to give any argument at all) it's not a valid argument to say that a utility token like GRT can't see drastic price appreciation.Maybe what you're thinking is that the supply is too high, and going higher. Will that cause problems for us winners? No, because most of the circulating supply will be locked up tight. It won't even be in the market. Imagine a trading floor with buyers and sellers pushing around a stack of GRT tokens. Does it matter if there are 10B or 50B tokens in total supply? No, it matters how many tokens are on the floor and how badly people want to buy vs. sell. Most people won't want to sell because they're getting price appreciation and compounding returns on tokens. So that's not a good argument either. If you DO have an argument, we are all waiting to hear it. Otherwise, as you said above, FUCK OFF FUDDER. You sound like an envious no-coiner. Keep seething. The rest of us are tuning up our guitars and getting ready to rock the fuck out. Notice the meme and how it's relevant and how much work I put into this.
>>27796934oof
>>27782939>tfw got in at $0.40not as good as some but I'm happy with my gains
>>27797111This is actually the correct answer - most of the "additional liquidity" from the influx of new tokens will get snapped up for staking. Indexers can absolutely charge fractional GRT - they are not obligated at a fixed rate to perform indexing. Function will just be determined by market rate for the utility.
>>27797109Things that go up tend to come down anoneven if its a little bit it won't go up endlesslythere will be down timesit will be interesting to see what comes of the "10 Billion Tokens" FUD
it's about to pump to $1I can feel it
>>27796873Here’s your source pajeet. Now go throw away the hot dogs before your shift is over.
>>27797111>>27797209Honestly this has to be said in every GRT thread because people seem to forget fractions of crypto are a thing. Nowadays I just ignore this type of shit.
>>27797111Checked.I bought 3000 of these at about 60 cents a few days ago. What the fuck is delegation? I have done NO research. You know that crest of ignorance meme? That's me, I'm on the low IQ scale.I see memes and organic /biz/ hype and I buy.Do you have a guide on it I could read? Thanks.
>>27797445

dumped MKR, COMP, CGLD, and XTZ for GRT. how fucked am I?
>>27797886Yeah for sureWhat's not really emphasized in these threads is that this is a solid fucking project. Distributed systems engineer here - if you want to query shit that's spread out across multiple nodes / shards / subgraphs, you need an indexing layer.Commercial solutions like Snowflake make fucking bank because they perform indexing and make certain types of OLAP applications actually possible (i.e., not slow af). Mega tech corps and FAANG companies PAY OUT THE ASS for this service and it's 110% totally worth it. Indexing at its most fundamental level is all about helping you grep through data much more effectively and find whatever the fuck you're looking for. It's comp sci / algos 101.

Guys I am so sad right nowI've only 1004 GRT and I was hoping to acoomulate even more. Oh well, I guess if it ever dips I will acoomulate immediately otherwise I guess I'll have to settle for this amount or buy other tokens are convert them to GRT
>>27801057This coin has hilariously burned a lot of people
Hear me out this is Bullish as fuckI was hanging out with a good friend of mine who is a programmer but a complete normie when it comes to crypto and Im slowly introducing him. I was explaining to him wihout memes that Graph and GRT are decentralized quering and indexing using graphQL and he says, >"So it's like a decentralized google."I didnt mention one word or meme of google and he was able to make that connection.Based GRT
>>27792153It's ok because they will sell as soon as they make a bit of profit but you will hold until you're richer than all of them.
>>27801147What does that have to do with my question?
How many tokens will be dropped in July?
>>27800943It'll bounce off $1.00 but I have no idea what it'll do on the way down since it'll be around prime time friday. My guess is a lot of the normies jumping in will sell into the dip, but there's gonna be a lot of buy pressure too.
>>27801149Your friend is an actual genious
>>27801236Sorry meant to respond to the post below-t. Retard
Fuck those pump shills at ICO for fudding the fuck out of me
>>27801149Can you explain it to us?
>>27782571A coin with such shitty tokenomics has no business being above .30. This is going to be funnier than watching GME crash. Fucking losers
>>27801149Yep.Imagine never having to deal with Google bullshit again.
>>27801253I think there will be a small dip when it hits a dollar but it will be bought up fast by all the people expecting it.
>>27792959>Do you pay gas to keep your stake delegated after the 28 days? The 28 days are for undelegating. When you delegate, you pay gas once to do so, then it stays delegated until you decide to undelegate all or some of it, not costing you any more gas in the meantime. Your rewards are automatically added to your delegation stack, so it compounds, again not costing you any gas.
>>27800033Why not just enjoy it for now? Same boat and just enjoying the ride.
>>27800188checked, based.
>>27801355Checked. I'm seriously considering buying another 2k tokens right now to delegate an even 5k. If my biden bucks were here I would.
>>27801149this gives me a hard on.
>>27801414It's just that whenever I read about any of my coins I just want to sell everything and go all in.Nothing makes me FOMO as much as GRT though.
>>27801355checked, true.
>>27801149Give me his phone number, I'd like to verify.
PUSH
How much realistically before it dips and then before plateaus again?
>>27800954>>27801068It was by far the most hated coin on /biz/ during December (by faggots)
>>27801682last week some dude told me it would drop back to 0.65, it didnt. If it dropbs back to around 0.80-0.82 I'd buy in. Or wait a few months for the whales.
>>27801524Relax let them when their course sell them at profit and then re evaluate what their long term use might be. I feel confident given the deplatforming and censorship we have seen recently that GRT will take off and keep growing, as it actually performs a function
>>27801274He is, he wants to build an app, and I opened his mind to the possibility of it being a Dapp. Once he understood that the programming fundamentals are pretty much the same in crypto and blockchain, his mind exploded. Told him his best bet would be try and build for web3
>>27801754No reason for whales to do that , you generate interest off of your tokens. Through delegating to indexers
>>278017761776 check god bless the constitution and freedom of speech
>>27801757Never ever sold at a loss even when things looked bleak and I needed money during COVID. I'm glad I'm addicted to green numbers.
>>27801776How do we solve the blockchain bloat problem though?
>>27801714It was the talk of the town for the first week when it pumped up 7x in a matter of days, and then it crashed just as badly. Whoever bought and didn't expect the crash to be just as bad is just being irresponsible.
>>27801941Cardano
>>27801941I am not very technical by any means, but I believe sharding attempts to solve this for ETH. No clue if it's possible or viable though.
>>27801524dca fren. i do that every monday and quit with the booze and stupid shit I don't need. it all adds up to thousands of petrol dollars that i can toss at crypto and not give a fuck about. good luck
>>27801505
>>27801877Cheers anon
>>27801941layer 2 (rollups and plasma) and eth 2.0 (staking and sharding). Rollups are here already on loopring and they're a WIP for many of the major dapps like Synthetix and Uniswap. Eth 2.0 is coming in about 1.5-2 years.
>>27802150I already live like a monk and scrape every penny I can save from the clutches of my communist government.
>>27801941This fucking fud. Bitcoin is like 300gb and isn't even super parabolic. You can get TB hardrives for around $100 and I'm pretty sure memory growth outpaces blockchain long term. It's getting to the point where maybe a college kid in his dorm can't manage all this stuff, but that's what layers fix
>>27801802of course that is a possibility, but they can sell a part of it for high profit, I'd do it, need to take some gains sometimes
>>27802280based
I swear to god if this fucking thing hit $1 before I get my biden bucks I'll flip
Listen. I'm retired. In the late 90's I worked at a major search engine. I left the company in the mid 00's but everyone in the company had what was something beyond optimisim. We went about our daily work with the realisation that our indexing of the the entire Internet was going to be revolutionary, and that of course we would be extremely wealthy. The feeling I had in those days I am feeling again. The ability of this technology is absolutely astounding. The future is blockchain and Graph is not the Google of blockchain. This is so, so much better in absolutely every single way.
>tfw bought 1400 more graphies last night at 81YES
>>27792153We out here together big dog, poorboys gotta make it too.
>>27802320most of the whales are indexers and founders running gigantic hard drives on memory hungry servers that suck power like a whore sucks dick. they spend rewards from every epoch on server maintenance and other operational expenses. the largest accounts have fucking diamond hands.
>>27802370Based, I was going to buy more at .70 but some reason didn't. Oh welp.
That sell wall at 95c is impenetrable holy fuck. 200k plus sell orders
