so both Monero and a coin, that was around this board in 2017-2018, called Turtlecoin are forks of a coin called bytecoin. both are privacy coins and $XMR's superior economics basically rendered $TRTL useless. Because of this many of the original investors lost alot of money. there was HUGE hype and for good reason. a big one being that with CPU mine-able. the reason this fell was major over-valuation, huge supply, and nothing that set it apart from other privacy coins However $TRTL Devs have recently announced a turtlecoin version 2.
