Thanks for the reply. Makes sense, however I would imagine there be some 'relics' made. Perhaps they're still out there. I personally believe many of the U Boats that went to Antarctica contained a lot. People think Roswell was 'little green men' that crashed. Less than two years adter the official end of WWII, and less than one year after the final battle of WWII - Operation Highjump. They're still out there.

You are right, it wasnt Hitler, it was Göring at that time "officer for the four-year plan" that forbid the private ownership of gold for the means of investments on 28. Oktober 1936.
The law is called "Gesetz gegen Wirtschaftssabotage" and stated that you had time to deliver gold, aswell as foreign currency to the authorities until end of January 1937 in exchange for paper Reichsmarks.

I dont think there will be any relics, the german Reichsbank used gold to buy machines and ressources mostly with Switzerland and the swiss very quickly melted all the bars into their own products.
Most of the gold of german reichsbank will look like historic bars made from "Degussa", so if you are interested in that have a search on the web.
Also keep in mind, today there is also a company called "Degussa" in fact nr. 1 german gold/silver trading house, however that is a different company to old Degussa from 100y ago.

Do you have a source for this? Your image is unreadable and a google search of “ Gesetz gegen Wirtschaftssabotage” in both German and English didn’t mention anything about Göring, gold, or the Third Reich. This timeline of gold confiscation on SD Bullion’s website only mentions Hitler’s seizing of gold from the Czech government

>Gesetz gegen Wirtschaftssabotage
https://www.servat.unibe.ch/dns/RGBl_1936_I_999_G_Wirtschaftssabotage.pdf

Just discovered that my grandpa that passed away 10 years ago had a full stack of coins. Is there some site that shows the value of old coins? I've been making money after a long period of not making money. My actual skill level at trading stocks has been getting more honed because I put more "skin in the game" (that's exposure; look up what that means on your own lol). It's taken a lot of loss to get to this point but I've finally "gotten it", you know? Actually I take it all back, I lose a lot of money because I invest in penny stocks lol. I really do know how to trade stocks. I just invest poorly on purpose. All the loses that I've taken are cause I really don't care too much about losing money, I can just make it all back. I just need to consistently make 100% every week and life's perfect.

Yeah I'm really quite excited for all the potential catalysts this year. It blows my mind this thing is still only at $10m market cap with all the properties and JV potential. It's a shame about the cyclones but hopefully once drilling resumes, it can build on the momentum from any JVs in the next few months, which will be building on the Koro results

Exciting times ahead for sure, I'm bullish as well!

Yup that's me. Also shilled Mammoth Resources and Metals Creek which also have gone up nicely. Only wish I had trusted my own judgment more and invested more in those while they were down. Looking for more microcaps when I have the interest... One interesting one is Inomin Mines who are optoning a great gold-silver asset in Mexico for themselves right now. Absolutely tiny market cap and insane asset but there's a catch: I had a look at the other company from whom they are optioning it for and it seems the reason they're selling it to Inomin is because they themselves couldn't come to agreement with the ejidos onsite and therefore couldn't ever drill it. So there's a chance the asset will never see more exploration... Definitely in my watch list and have to do a deeper dive into the company when I have the energy.

So you paid $220 each for for quantity 100 of them? I bought one at that price, and am happy with it. That's actually right around where they were selling new before they were out of stock everywhere... but about double the lowest price ever.

100 is going to be a lot to unload, but, I am certain they will be sought out as meme collector items. The matte P ones are literally selling for $400+ right now.

I use quite a fancy electrical furnace, but its only really suitable for small casts because its hella bulky yet you can only fit a short crucible inside.

If you are moderately competent with gas, you can just build your own, plenty of plans out there. Its usually a chamber with the crucible inside surrounded by thick layers of that ceramic insulating wool stuff, with a hole for a propane / butane torch or two. And a lid.

nickels going to be massive in the coming years, I am watching a few junior explorers and massive companies like Nornikel for that. I still think the companies in Ontario looking over the old silver towns are going to do great for cobalt supplies, africa's cobalt explorers keep having too many issues with local working conditions to be viable in the near future. Copper will be quietly growing in importance every year for the next decade with everything going "green". Massive copper projects like Schaft Creek and KSM will be the targets for this I think.

Owning Discovery Metals and Impact Silver is somewhat redundant. Both are Mexican silver explorers with massive resources. As silver miner anon pointed out to me, Impact is the better play, in that they have higher silver grades, lower market cap, already are a producer, and their property has historic significance in Mexican lore for producing silver for half a century. I would recommend, and have personally done, dropping Discovery and putting that into Impact. Do some research yourself first and see what you think.

It's a hedge against the dollar when the currency collapses. Which happens to every fiat currency. Either you get it or you don't get it. Money velocity is at its lowest ever. When it springs back up and it will. You better have some hard assets or get cucked.

I've mentioned in my other comments, golds becoming massively important in my field now, it used to be a relatively minor side hustle. But golds properties have become really pivotal in the new era of imaging technology, so I do more business in gold in a year than I previously did in 10.

The actual quantity used is small of course so im not saying gold is going to moon because of it or anything. Its just an appreciation for the properties of the metal itself, its genuinely divine.

Last I heard, 2020's immigrants (400k) are "ready to go" but aren't here yet due to COVID. 2021 will also add 400k people.
Housing already went nuts last year with no immigration, 800,000 people are about to need a place to live in Montreal, the great shithole formerly known as Toronto, and Vancover. They will supposedly need to get jobs too, or maybe attach themselves to the government teet

Canada is truly stuck, even Venezuela could at least sell their gold reserves to limit the effect of hyperinflation and it was still insane.

I still kek every time I am reminded of it man. The fact that Canada has a strategic stockpile of maple syrup is probably the most adorably cute and quintessentially Canadian thing in the universe haha.
