>shill me the next 100x
>what’s the next chainlink/UNI?
>I have $1000, where do I put it?
>what should I buy on uniswap with the 0.7 ETH in my metamask wallet?

There have been a lot of these threads lately. Even more than usual with the influx of redditors. Asking to be shilled some low cap shitcoin is putting yourself directly in harm’s way if you don’t have the intuition to detect gems among bullshit, or if you aren’t temperamentally suited to doing your own research.

There won’t be “another Chainlink” because the circumstances that gave rise to it are unique. - Chainlink and UNI have first mover advantage in their respective fields. In this thread I’ll revisit the case for Kleros (PNK)

>> No.27738420

Kleros is a dispute resolution platform, adored by Vitalik and backed by Colin Rule of Tyler Technologies, previously director of dispute resolution for ebay and paypal. Unlike the countless other projects littering the board, Kleros has a working product you can use to make money RIGHT NOW.
PNK tokens are staked, and jurors are picked from the pool of stakers. Voting in cases is easy and the anonymous nature of the selection process makes conspiring with other jurors impossible. You don’t see what other folks are selecting. You must therefore vote with your own intuition and common sense. This will naturally create a fairer system as the financial incentives for winning a case compel people to vote in the interest of public consensus. Winning Jurors are awarded ETH while the losers forfeit a small percentage of their staked PNK.
There is a juror incentive program being implemented to diversify the pool of jurors, adding one million PNK tokens per month to he distributed among stakers whether or not they’re drawn as jurors.
The project has been fully decentralised since December 9th, so any future proposals (including inflationary token minting) must be approved by the userbase.

sounds like a terrible idea desu, surely some decisions are kept to the team

>> No.27739274

>>27738917
There was backlash In early 2020 when the team announced there could be another token mint, the outcry from the users prevented it, or at least postponed. The max supply was always going to be the same as LINK’s, but it may remain lower if the holders refuse to allow it.
Obviously core development remains with the team.

The aim is not what fudders would misrepresent it as - to make traditional criminal courts obsolete - we all know murder cases won’t be handled by NEETs and Pajeets, but that is fundamentally missing the point. Think how inefficient dispute resolution layers for online businesses usually are. And think of the potential application for small claims courts or civic dispute matters where the case is more grey than black and white.
Uniswap.ninja Is a Kleros app. Kleros kickstarted the defi bullrun if any of you are new.
The applications go beyond Judge Judy larping. Linguo is a kleros app for sourcing freelance translations.
Proof of Humanity (POH) is huge and is said to be coming this month as part of a partnership with Democracy Earth. This is to be followed by a trial for UBI running on the same network.
The subjective oracle could handle matters like voter ID. - even browser integrations for disputing fake news articles.

>> No.27740368

Over 540 cases have been resolved in the Kleros court so far.
Half a million $ paid in ETH to coherent jurors.
2.3M PNK rewarded to coherent jurors.
The Subjective data oracles will serve as the yin to LINK’s objective yang.
So far PNK has destroyed copycat cut and paste shittokens like ANJ, and LINK’s Sergei has partnered with another PNK copycat token, maybe out of bitterness that Kleros’ Clement called him out on not having a working product yet.
Aside from Vitalik and Colin Rule, Kleros was mentioned by the World Economic Forum, shilled by Naval, recently followed by Jack of Twitter fame, and received a grant of €500k from the EU’s innovation council.

pnk literally has one of the highest value prop out of any shitcoin. it can work as an oracle for smart contracts where something like link would not work OR help solve dispute cases on e-commerce for example.

Also, its one of the only projects currently paying ETH to users most other alt projects pay their own token.

I'll be honest, seeing all Defi hype booming makes me kinda pissed PNK is crabbing. Thank God for these fees stopping me from selling my stack. I do have long term faith in the projects. Steady and pondered development, grants, new job openings that seem only for furthering the development and not because people are jumping ship. Same max supply as LINK (with high likelihood of supply remaining fixed at around 25% under that) means you could look at this the same way you did with LINK in ‘17 - people are throwing thousands at LINK now to buy small stacks. I have 100k and I’m comfy.
