It's a complete fucking dumpster fire. How have things improved so little in 10 years? why the fuck are we still using shithereum?

i think i can agree with most of your points, but this one seems dubious. mining is significantly more profitable when using your own renewable energy. furthermore, mining should be able to help renewable energy's scalability in the near future. here's a post from some
anon yesterday.

>Bitcoin mining is only profitable with near zero cost electricity aka excess capacity that would've been wasted because it costs too much to transport - eg. hydro dams in the middle of nowhere with not enough people around to consume all the power.

Excess capacity is a problem only renewable energy has, hence why Bitcoin mining is almost purely done with renewable energy. (coal power plants never have excess capacity, because you can just stop burning coal if you're producing too much electricity, whereas wind/solar/hydro produce electricity regardless of demand)

In fact Bitcoin mining acts as a subsidy for renewables, thereby solving renewable energy's biggest problem - excess capacity in face of insufficient demand. There is now incentive to invest in new renewable sources in places where it used to be economically unsustainable - if people don't buy all your electricity, no problem, just mine bitcoin with the rest.

In short, Bitcoin not only does not contribute to carbon emissions, it supports green energy.

WITH BTC ETH FEES AT AN ATH ITS TIME TO TAKE THE RED PILL ON THIS

Someone says Vechain, your first thought is supply chain.
WRONG. Vechain is the ultimate defi coin, you get paid just for holding the token. You get paid more for staking. I'll tell you how.

Vechain is a fork of eth, it can do everything ETH can do with consistent fees at 0.01$ even at 10 000tps.

>Now here is the redpill.

When you pay ETH fees All of that goes to the miners. ALL OF IT. YOU. DO. NOT. SEE. A. PENNY. Miners are the crypto jews. They are parasites and leech our ETH and when they've gathered all of that eth, they it dump on us.
You can cope say muh security muh decentralisation but the truth is ETH is controlled by less then 15 mining pools. It is already centralized and we are being jewed.

Now all of the fees paid when using VET, they are all equally distributed towards all of the token holders equally. Stakers get more obviously, but there is no middle man. No filthy jewish miners taking our hard earned crypto. We token holders get our fees back. Do you understand the enormity of this?
We get fees back and we distribute it back into the Vet ecosystem pumping up the marketcap,, Vet gets used more,, more fees earned, pump back into the eco-... you get the idea right. Its an organic constant pump cycle.
You can create tokens on Vet. It has its on Uniswap called Vexchange. Its own metamask called Comet. Its own blockchain games called, Berserk, Vulcanverse. An official mobile wallet. It has special features that help normie adoption that I'll tell you about if you ask me.
And best of all the circular economy means everyone is rewarded in fees just for holding the coin. The rich don't get richer, the holders do. No parasite miners draining our wallets, ETH would have overthrown BTCs marketcap if it wasn't for the scaling. That's the truth. Vet is heading to the top 5.

Have you tried looking in a mirror lately? NTP scums lack of self awareness and inability to remember or learn from their mistakes is their biggest downfall with trading. They swing at the worst times because they have no idea how to read people or markets. Si users are truly the biggest cucks, stuck entirely in their own grandiose delusions of themselves.

>Stupidly expensive gas fees
XRP has extremely miniscule fees
>Unintuitive mess
Trade anything for XRP for anything, pretty damn simple
>Massive energy waste

>Huge flood of shitcoins

>99% of market purely speculative
XRP is highly speculative but with all the backing it has even a smoothbrain midwits normie can put 2+2 together to equal 4
>Unregulated
Soon enough XRP will be regulated after court and be ready to be implemented by banks and retailers, won't be used for crime likely often due to complete transparency on the blockchain

>10 years
The first 2-3 years most people thought crypto was an elaborate scam. So not many were working to better it then. Even the next 5 years or so it wasn’t taken very seriously, but people were starting to take notice of BTC going up. It wasn’t till BTC hit $30k that crypto was really on people’s minds.

If I had to guess, we are about a decade away from some breakthroughs. Between the GME shit redpilling lots of normies and ever dwindling faith in USD, a lot more effort is going to go into polishing up crypto.

Imagine a world where you can walk up to a food truck and pay the guy 0.5 LINK for your burrito or whatever.
