it's not the worst to hold them on an exchange if it's say, less than a few $k.
MetaMask is the best ethereum token wallet - this can be downloaded as a browser extension or a mobile app. Note that this only holds ERC-20 tokens (tokens that are on the etherum blockchain). So it is not compatible with bitcoin or neo or anything like that.
