If there was no team, that would mean all the coding was complete, the token was delivering on it's 'design intention', and it was a crypto valued on it's actual utility.

Anything less, you are not investing in the token or the design; you are investing in the capabilities of the developers to follow through on 'promises & roadmaps' and hope they don't run after the first pump and rug you.
