Go online and check physical silver prices. If your intent is to watch spot prices every single day, silver is not a get rich quick scheme. Its a metal that is going to be rare over time. If you want instant satisfaction go crypto, it runs 24/7 and is very accelerated versus the stock exchange.

You always know that the correction is about the be over when long term investors get these feelings. It means that speculators are long gone and the market is ready to bottom for the next move higher. Related to this, I just watched the most recent technical analysis video from Sprott money on youtube and there Chris Vermeulen was predicting that gold might bottom at around $1760 and then move to $2300. That's the technical case and we know that the fundamentals are telling us that there really is no upper limit for gold in terms of FIAT and the any bearishness should be only short term. Anyway, I wish I had that kind of big boy gold stack. You surely are stacked sir.

> What Exactly is “Spot” Price?
"It is important for one to understand what the spot price actually means. The spot price is simply the price at which a commodity could be transacted and delivered on right now. This is in contrast to futures or forward contracts. The spot price of gold refers to the price of one ounce of gold and the spot price of silver refers to the price of one ounce of silver."

buying tons of silver with high premiums isn't gonna do much to the market price. You're just making silver dealers rich.

Look at this graph from 2015, when premiums rose because people were buying silver coins like mad, much like now. Then look at the silver price over the last ten years, and notice how nothing remarkable at all happened to the silver price in 2015.

Retail coins and bars are a small part of the demand for silver, they cannot move the needle over night even when demand triples. You just get higher premiums, because the mints aren't fast enough. Now when the electronics industry for example needs more silver than can be mined, THEN we can talk about the silver price rising and Comex defaulting. Also consistent buying over a long time period by a large number of people will make the mint infrastructure grow and slowly influence the price.

If you're gonna buy at these premiums, just buy enough so you won't kys on the off chance it moons, but not so much that you'll get angry if prices go down by 50%. Look at it like a lottery ticket rather than a serious investment.

When the mints have caught up, bullion dealers have restocked and premiums are down again, then you can buy some more, and get much more silver for your money.

https://www.silver.com/prices/silver-prices/

> What exactly does the spot silver price quote?
The spot silver price reflects the current price for one troy ounce of .999 fine silver.

> Do silver dealers charge a premium over spot?
Yes. A precious metals dealer will charge a premium over the spot price for various silver bullion products. This premium over spot represents the dealer’s gross profit margin. Dealers must, however, then subtract various overhead costs to determine their net profit.

> What is the spread on silver prices?
The spread on silver prices is the difference between what a dealer will buy silver for and what they will sell silver for. For example, if spot silver is currently priced at $17 per ounce, a silver dealer may list a basic silver round for sale at $17.80. That same dealer may also list an offer to purchase the same silver round for $16.50. The difference between the buy price and the sell price is the dealer’s gross profit.

the asteroid mining argument is highly retarded; even if asteroid mining was brought up and running to an industrial scale in our lifetimes it's not like those resources are going to be brought down to earth. do yourselves a favor and do the research on companies actually looking to mine asteroids and what they're plans for the harvested materials are. hint: it's not economically viable to spend the money to bring them into a gravity well.

New stacklet here.
For the first time today i stumbled accross the detailed yearly total offer/demand for silver. I'm a big brainlet but i found it to be the most bullish thing i've ever read.
>800M oz mined worldwide / year
>industrial production use/destroy 600M oz / year
>= 200M oz left for bullion and other stuff / year

So you are telling me that if each adult over 30yo in the US would just purchase ONE oz every year, there would be 0.00 oz of silver left produced each year for the entirety of the world? What in the peepee poopoo??

Also i noticed on the graph the yearly demand was outpacing the production literally every year and i read that to keep a positive net balance we had to use silver stored by governments during.. well... all of history i guess. But now there's only 0.24B oz left held by all the governments worldwide, while this figure was 10 billions oz 30y ago.

How is this sustainable? What happen when the governmental silver is completely depleted and we don't have reserves left to have a positive net balance? Will they make it illegal to hoard silver so the industries can keep producing stuff?
It doesn't even look like a money issue, it look like a fucking totally depleted ressource... My mind is totally blown away, why do the big suits do nothing about it? Don't they have a plan to have a sustainable future for silver? Do they think paper silver will be able to replace physical for industrial uses?

Silver is the first commodity we will run dry of globally at the current pace if we don't miraculously find giant deposits.

Imho PAAS will bottom around $28 and then rocket back up around 34-35, and AG will go down around $11 and then go back up once the (((spot))) decide to reach back $28.50.
HL will probably lose another buck then bottom out around 4.90 to then spike back up to 6-6.50.

We have incentived money movers and money managers and we have disincentive the training of new engineers. The whole financial system can basically be automated because of new technological improvements however right now we have 10% of the population working as financial workers and even more in advertising, sales, management e.c.t These useless jobs will all disappear and these people that trained in these sectors will be left holding the bags of faulty education

We have no idea how it will unfold, so don't bother torturing yourself about this. Most likely it will end up being a worldwide jewish domination mass sterilizing the goyim and trying to summon Lucifer and we end up fucked no matter what.
Simply get as prepared as you can, which mostly mean staying as far away from any fiat scam (and shitcoins) as possible. And also try to be as self sufficient as possible, even though it's becoming basically illegal to do so in a lot of places, but try to have your little garden for the legumes, your chickens for the eggs, maybe install a solar panel or two on your roof, connect a water reservoir to your gutter and install a water purifier/filter to it.
Buy few 12V batteries with a dynamo so you can easily charge them using a crank.

Also try to keep close bounds with your relatives, you can't make it alone, no matter what. Try to be sure no one in your family is getting brainwashed by jewish lies, otherwise they could become a future snitch.

With solar panels + batteries/dynamo + water filtration + water tank + wooden poultry house + seeds/tools to have a tiny garden, you can fulfil your most basic needs for a while, and all this would cost you like 2K max. It's really cheap for a safety net.

Expect them to try to crush other retailers as they consolidate the economy into purely online sales. For them it's an inevidability they can build a strategy around

I'm a normie but at least I'm not a reddit normie. I know I should be grateful to them for pumping silver but holy fuck, I nearly lost hundreds of dollars when silver shot back up to $26.72 earlier. Luckily I had enough in my account to keep increasing my stop loss position.. My take profit is set to 26.2 which will only net me $56 profit. But I'm so scared of these reddit niggers trying to pump it again that I think I'll just cut and run.... if it even dips that low in the next few hours.
Wall St should send it plummeting once they open in a few hours right? Someone give me hope that I can make hundreds off of this short if I just hold out.

but every time we've tried that proposition it's been proven wrong. Americans want high paying jobs but don't want to pay high prices for their goods. Only way to achieve that is to export the cheap jobs and buy the cheap goods.

If we had a block against China, lower end goods would be built in Mexico and higher end goods would still be produced in the United States with a bit more automation than what we see in China, albeit at slightly higher prices. This is already true for certain industries such as automotive manufacturing due to both favorable trade setups like NAFTA/USMCA and punitive tariffs by NAFTA countries against Chinese car imports and Chinese predatory regulatory and import policies regarding non-Chinese assembled cars in their market among other things.

I think people really over estimate how much money they save by doing business in China. I'm currently helping someone select a manufacturer for a line of dolls and China is only about 15%-20% cheaper than doing it in the US. One of my family friends designs toys for two of the larger toy companies in the US and they too only see a 10%-12% cost savings in China these days. If you want true cheap manufacturing labor Vietnam or India are the new go to countries. Eastern Europe and Latin America are also very over looked and their workers are typically more competent than the poorer parts of Asia. I don't feel that 15%-20% lower prices are worth the wholesale destruction of much of our industrial base. I work in automotive and it's actually MORE expensive to build cars in China as there are a whole lot of hurdles and profit sharing issues with making cars in China.

Also China invests heavily in both gold and silver holdings, while NEVER letting it leave the country for foreigners to have.

They are happy to pay Australians and Canadians worthless USD for gold then hoard it all themselves since they know when shit hits the fan having healthy gold reserves, strong crypto space, and strong manufacturing will put them on top.

Yeah. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with China in the next two decades. About half of their population still doesn't live at truly developed standards yet labor in China is already growing too expensive for them to really remain the worlds sweatshop for much longer. Foreign manufacturers of high end goods may simply choose to just keep production in their home countries and lower tier goods will fall to less developed countries. China will also hit an aging issue soon too. Highly specialized middle weighting and creation of Chinese firms that can actually produce their own high value goods are going to be crucial for them to persevere.

Have a good sleep fren.

To be economically feasible, asteroid mining would probably require a space elevator. Since a project like that would cost hundreds of billions of dollars, and also need an existing space program for construction, it couldn’t be done by the private sector. A major government with a space program would have to initiate it. Some governments have casually mentioned an idea like this over the years, but none of them are currently taking steps toward building a space elevator. So, realistically, asteroid mining is essentially impossible for the next five, probably ten, years. Keep stacking and ignore this scare tactic.

China is well aware of this and their goal is to simply grow beyond low cost manufacturing and into large scale technology production.
In the case of microprocessors, they already produce something like 40% of the global supply, while Taiwan produces 30-40%
If China absorbs Taiwan the. Suddenly the entire market is owned by them.

Same goes for many other things, entire economic sectors are reliant on china now since they have completely taken them over while giving greedy western companies some (worthless) USD

The manufacturing sectors of many western nations is already gone and “greater profitability” wont bring them back home again.
They need to be entirely rebuilt, which wont happen.

>They tried that but Mexicans don't wanna work and when you pay them they may not show up for a week

You're literally talking out of your ass. I design interior trim pieces for the automotive industry, mostly for German companies and have literally been to Mexican factories. Mexicans are kind of the highest end of semi-skilled industrial labor before you graduate up to skilled labor. Mexico is one of the most productive nations for doing industrial offshoring. I'd actually say they're the best value and labor quality apart from Slovakians or Hungarians regarding machine work, but Eastern Europe will soon be expensive and priced out of that sector of the global economy.

Are you Chinese or a UAW shill?

The great majority of mining stock investors only know the big names, like Newmont and Pan American, or, conversely, are only searching for companies with “silver” in the name. Nicola and Blue Lagoon are small-cap juniors with names that don’t have “silver” in them, and they’re virtually unknown to most seasoned mining stock investors as well. What this means is you have a great opportunity to continue accumulating cheap shares, if your research has led you to like these companies’ potential, instead of chasing them along with everyone else. Learn the fundamentals of your miners, sign up for news release email alerts, and, when the price continues to dip or crab, just relish the opportunity to buy more shares cheaply. These junior mining stocks aren’t going to “moon” or even budge until we get past $30 silver and sustain it for a while.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. In most western countries these fields have simply been scaled down drastically but they still retain manufacturing capacity and most importantly very important R&D bases. Most western countries could restart many of their industrial sector at high capacity that have mass migrated to China, it would just be a headache doing it on a short notice. A few small Euro countries would be an exception. The UK and France could but it would be a much more difficult undertaking than say for the US or Germany because they let such a massive proportion of their heavy industries simply fade away without maintaining R&D from the 80s-2000s. It would be difficult but still not impossible, but would take a good 1-5 years.
