LTO Network is a hybrid blockchain focused on business.
It’s the backend platform for any system or application to integrate with.
The unique architecture makes it GDPR compliant and extremely scalable.

Usecases vary from:
- Anchoring existing systems for data integrity
- exchanging data on processes that run between organizations in an efficient and secure way
- and soon digital identification of individuals and your companies when doing business online. (defi for business)

With a focus on partners that build domain specific applications, like in education, healthcare, and the government.
Those partners sell their applications to B2C, B2B, but also Government2Citizen.

>50% circ. supply staked. Staking rewards paid entirely by clients, 0.25LTO every transaction.
>Deflationary supply. 0.1 LTO burn every transaction.
>Big partners include IBM, UN, AIRBUS, Dutch & Euro gov bodies

Arbitrary fees and burn rates. There is no inherent calculation that scales fees and burn rate to transaction volume. The tokenomics need work. At the moment, it’s just a token burn scheme to pump the price for early adopters.

ERC20 token balances don't appear on that list, that's only for mainnet addresses (though it doesn't matter if it's held in a hardware wallet or no, all details about the address are always on the chain.)

I'm assuming you are referring to the Eth token since don't think any hardware wallets support LTO mainnet, though there is an unofficial one for ledger.

But you should be using mainnet if you want to stake!

Refute me. I’ve been studying it. Had tokens then sold due to this fundamental tokenomics issue. I assume that’s why it hasn’t taken off yet. Smart money knows it’s not a smart investment.

>> No.27674628

>>27672848
Fees can always be adjusted with a vote, and with a big price increase, it might be necessary.

Also, why should fees scale with volume? People bitch non-stop about Ethereum's gas fees. So it's either that or or a fixed price.

What work is there to be done to the tokenomics? Returning a fee to stakers isn't really seen anywhere, and is one of the fundamental draws to the network

27674876

>>27674332
i’m pretty sure they have bigger concerns than a fee equation right now. said equation depends highly on world clients and their negotiations with them, once that happens a tighter fee thesis will come into fruition. it would be impossible to come up with an appropriate linear fee calculation right now because there’s no telling where LTO will stabilize (although the blog has said that they prefer it to be >50 billion cap to avoid manipulation and volatility).

>> No.27674926

>>27674628
The problem is the fees are incurred by the person transacting. The valuation will not scale with the fees and relies on stakers to determine what is fair rather than baking it into the protocol. It’s sloppy work.

>> No.27675012

>>27674876
Not if volume is used to determine fee size. Increased volume = lower fees which incentivized adoption and client on boarding. It’s that simple.

Give the network the to mature and respond to clients reactions to price movements. Right now we have still seen steady growth in txs even with a price climb. The team will relay to the nodes how the clients feel about tx fees. Stakers aren't going to keep it high if it causes a huge drop in transactions.

>> No.27675334

>>27675012
where did you read they were basing the fee on volume amount? genuine question, really haven’t looked to much into it

>> No.27675415

>>27675334
The problem is that they aren’t. Price = demand = volume = fees. It’s the perfect scaling solution, but for some reason they are using a flat rate to serve as a supply burn to reward early adopters and close the door on the ark so to speak. Shady and inorganic.

Because clients and transactions will keep growing. And staking comes entirely from the transaction fees. Current APY is 7%, but that will grow as transactions grow. Meaning more people will want to stake. Meaning more buying and less selling

>> No.27676552

>>27675415
i wouldn’t call it shady. i mentioned earlier in my other post that they are trying to stabilize the LTO market and avoid manipulation/volatility by increasing the market cap to ~50bn+. the fixed fee is probably how they figure they could drive the cap to that number. so in a way, yes, i think the “closing the door on the ark” is a valid feeling because they want to reward early adopters and stakers at the same time stabilizing the token for a more seamless business experience
