24 and my liquid net worth (stocks/cash) is 33k. 2 Years IT degree and trading stocks/crypto.

Where are you guys at /biz/? Also how old?

BTW pic is 10k in prop money i use as a reference when trading to visualize daily earnings or daily losses. Highly recommended if you've become desensitized to numbers on a screen.

Had my good days and had my bad days trading the spy. Best was 10k in 4 hours and worst was -7k in 2 hours. Spy is something i started avoiding recently because i find it a lot harder to predict indexes/ETF's rather than individual stock performance. Still can be a bit of fun in small quantities but i limited myself to 1 contract at a time on spy and started getting into the ones that are in the money with longer expiry's.

That's fantastic man, good ratio of cash/investments imo. I'm currently 28 in investments and 5 in cash. It's mostly to keep myself above 25k to continue the ability to day trade if i need to although my strategy isn't heavily reliant on it. Plan on doing about 1/3 in cash whenever i can.

oh btw forgot to mention age

I'm 23

made 1.2 mil from chainlink, first bought in at .32 cents. Inherited 550k from a rich uncle that was adopted into our family that died unexpectedly.

My whole life I never expected to inherit anything, and that only changed a year ago when this based boomer took our lesbian aunt out of the will and replaced her with me. He died from what they claimed was coronavirus, dude was stuck on his floor for 3 days and couldn't call for help. They did a wellness check and got him to the hospital but was too far gone, doesn't sound like corona to me personally.

So I was just as lost as confused as you guys were and it's crazy because in 2017 I only had about 15k to my name that I had saved up from waiting tables and selling cars with a few random lucky option plays on earnings.

Sorry to hear he went out like that... I used to live with my mother in a place with tons of old people and the amount of times things like that happened is insane. An elderly person falls getting out of the bathtub and can't move or get to a phone all windows and doors closed can't make loud enough sound. Lieing on the ground in their own piss and shit. It is an awful way to go. They usually aren't dead when they get help but I have noticed they often die shortly after... Pyschological in a bit I imagine. Once youv been through that you want to go.

Bro I feel you, I had a lot of cash too and felt about it.

If you wanna slowly get into crypto and play it safe at first, open up a HYSA with blockfi or celsius and buy a "stablecoin", and just get 8% yearly returns on your money. Stablecoins are coins that are paired with the US or other currency, so it does not fluctuate like other cryptos.

After that, if you decide to buy actual crypto, it's a lot easier to trade your stablecoin to any other coins.

>> No.27684825

>>27683910

I'll try that, 8% per year seems really good compared to ETF returns recently.

I've actuallt started mining dogecoin in my offtime. Is it worth setting my gpu to mine something like eth? I've heard it's the most valuable rn
