I think a lot of it is no one knows how much info to give to new people. Do you tell them mining secures the network or that its a race of machines to arrive at some computation or sit down and show them the algorithm being used? Im working on some blogs and such to indoctrinate no coiners and I think its best to give people as little information as is required to get them to buy bitcoin. Then hope for the best.

Unironically: pick a couple of projects you see shilled here, try and read their respective whitepapers, if you come across a concept you are unfamiliar with in a whitepaper (which you undoubtably will) use google and read as much as you can so that you do understand that concept.

Note, this is rather labour intensive, but you have to understand that you won’t be getting large consistent gains unless you understand more than the majority of other crypto traders/investors.
