Full disclosure, I'm invested in this, but just with like 200$ I received from fidelity for opening an account (It was like a special offer in 2019 and I originally received 120$, which is then turned into 200$ through some no brainer trades.) In other words, I got nothing to lose and any speculator that wants to get in now should be investing in the same way. Here's why.
Last week, the price for GME dipped to ~120$ from ~300$ during I think a period of market manipulation. It's still the reason why I think the price is in the 90$-110$; people can't buy the amount of shares they want and are limited. Now back to last week. It catapulted from 120$ back to ~250-300$ range. What did the hedgefunds probably due at this range? They probably reloaded their shorts from 300$ to what the price is now. This is why people need to be careful if they want to get in. The hedgefunds shorting may not be bleeding as much as everyone thinks.
If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me. I just want to have a reasonable conversation about this. I'm also invested in this, and want the stocks to sore, so I'm not trying to manipulate anyone into financial ruin/missed opportunities.
