Long time lurker who wants to get into crypto. I plan on using Coinbase. Is it good and secure? I'm hesitant when linking my bank account.

im using coinbase. its very secure as they use offline storage so its quite literally impossible to hack.

they have some high fees on transactions though so if youre going to daytrade its not the best options. but if youre planning on investing and holding for a long time then its absolutely a good choice

I use binance.us their fee's are the lowest when you use their coin for fee's. No problems with them at all, I keep about 5k in the account though in case shit fucks up but so far no issues what so ever.
