the goal is to sell out at higher point than you bought in. A good strategy is this. Start with $10 in. Make a goal to profit 10% back so $1 profit. Sell small amounts at peaks and buy back in at dips until you reach your goal. Keep repeating until you have your initial investment back.

In which ever crypto you play with, the goal is to build up the bag and take a little out at a time. The more stable a coin is, the more likely it will grow over time and that means your profits from holding grow with it.

Maybe i've been buying at inopportune times, cause my original investment rarely was worth more than I put in. Partially due to fees, i'm sure, and because it hasn't done much dipping below 3 cents since i've been able to buy. Probably at around 0.0325ish average buy in right now.

The bootstrap is still 45 GB, so it only helps you so much if your internet is garbage. The real problem is that the good nodes are overloaded, which seriously tanks the sync rate. Use an alternative wallet instead, if you already have coins in the old wallet then you can sweep those into your new one without needing to sync.
