So fucking frugal, I live like a poor person because nearly all my money goes in to investment and overpaying my mortgage.. I am looked down upon for not having nice clothes and the best technology etc yet I'm likely far better off than many of my peers.

Yall are inspiring me. I have a legit small business but I keep spending the money on useless shit to have friends. Recently I gave them up. Now I'm back to stacking my money. I'm going to put every dollar I have into my TFSA and invest for the long term. I'm so sick of the last 3 years I wasted. Turning 25 this year. I'm sorry /biz/. I lost your teachings in 2018. Life in the city offers a lot if you actually want to do something in life and be around people. For me its ideally 20 mins drive out of the city.
Flexing over city folk is ultimate cope of sorts and its relatively recent, since most cities turned into consoomer shit without culture even more than before. Still, I still like to go to a concert, join sport clubs, browse shops and meet people.
