If the shorts were at 135% of the float at one point, how have they got the short down to 35%? I understand how you can get over 100% by the same share being lent and shorted more than once, but how can you unwind from that position? If you’d lent and shorted a share twice, there will be two people each expecting the same share to be returned to them.
