This is a pretty damn entertaining interview https://youtu.be/yg3XOqit09Y

In the last big mania, people would literally line up outside of coin shops for hours to snap up what they could before the daily inventory was gone.

You could actually make more money by just being in line early, then selling your place in line to someone else.

These are still early innings.

"What would I do right now if I was Keith Neumeyer? I would announce that I was immediately stopping all sales of Silver to the Wholesalers or mints. I would announce that Silver would be available to Retail purchasers at the price I felt the Silver was worth. If someone is willing to pay $33 US for Unobtainium (Physical Silver) right now, I would sell it to them for $35. I would always charge a Premium to any ones stated price and I would withdraws Sales of product if I felt the price was too low. I would give preference to regular customers in terms of supply. The industrial users hide what they pay for Silver as they know that the fundamentals and macro picture for Silver is strong and they don't want to "let the price get out of hand". I would offer them certainty of delivery contracts at an ongoing price premium."

Glad to see some more outside-the-box sterling silver buyers here. Let the boomers and plebbitors pay those FOMO premiums and keep stacking up the cheapies.

Reminder to the newfags:
The bullion dealers will get silver back in stock. They ran out in March, and within a month they were back to normal. They ran out in August, and within a month they were back to normal. But each time /pmg/ was fear mongering and told you to buy at ridiculously high prices because “OH MY GOD ALL THE SILVER IS GONE BUY BUY BUY BUY” which is demonstrably false. The silver price WILL go down, and premiums will fall with it. Be very wary of the advice you take from /pmg/ because everyone here is emotionally (not rationally) invested into silver, which clouds their judgment and reasoning. Buy at a price that you feel comfortable at. I know I’m going to get hit with a barrage of ad hominems but nobody here can refute the substance of my argument because they know I’m right

Bought this today.
25 maples and then a bit above 7 kilos in french junk.
Semeuse and Hercule coin.
Half of the junk at 4% above spot.
How much does junk go for in the states compared to spot?
I'm thinking of going 5%in junk and 5% in etf.
That way if silver goes to 50 i sell the etf and keep the junk. If it goes to 150 i might sell the junk then.
If it doesnt really do that i can keep the junk for my kids/grandkids.
My thinking is junk silver is a deflationary asset. Some of this junk will be over 150 years old when i become 90.
Those that inherit it might see it become collectors items.

Is bullion just a (((trick)))?

People always flock to silver/gold in the times of shitty economy. Venezuela is a great example of what happens in an economy that nearly completely fails but has somewhat functioning government. I do not want to see the world with a completely failed economy since Somalia is what comes to mind and the prices of gold/silver in Somalia stopped being somewhat relevant because food become a big issue.

In late-afternoon trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, First Majestic Silver Corp. was down about 23 per cent, mirroring its gain on Monday, while Silvercorp Metals Inc. was down about 17 per cent, offsetting its Monday gain of 25.7 per cent.

In a research note titled "The silver squeeze is dead," TD Securities commodity strategist Daniel Ghali says the attempted manipulation of silver appears to be over, with Google searches trending lower, defeated by elements including the ample liquidity of the silver market.

The reason: the increase in the required security per silver futures contract by 18 percent (initial margin).

'Investment waves in the precious metals sector are regularly broken by this means of increased liquid margins. For the sellers (establishment) the increased liquidity requirement is not a problem, for the rest of the market it is (to some extent forced liquidation). As a result, the silver price lost ground ', commented Folker Hellmeyer, chief analyst at Solvecon Invest, on the events on the silver market.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Beautiful-Large-Antique-Sterling-Silver-Goblet-Wine-Glass/233873592712

https://www.ebay.com/itm/GORHAM-STERLING-SILVER-272-PAIR-OF-STEMMED-WATER-WINE-GOBLETS-6-1-2/254853766707

Just look around and make sure the total price with shipping and tax is decent enough to personally justify, and of course make sure there is a picture in the listing of the "STERLING" mark or for English pieces, the lion passant hallmark. Pass on anything without clear pictures of the sterling markings because people are ignorant and will call plated crap or even aluminum, pewter and stainless steel "sterling" because they don't know any better.

60 years?

Possibly, if you told me 60 years ago that the giant scantron-devouring machine taking up an entire room to process at 1 hertz would one day become 2 billion times more powerful and fit in my pocket I would have laughed.

The reality with asteroid mining though is that we're still constrained by two very difficult hurdles to break through - physics and astronomical distances. We can't launch rockets much faster than we already do today. Capturing the 16th largest object in the solar system isn't going to be easy.

Anyway geology for the mining sector is actually a rather hard course load to do though university. Its really not for everyone. Becoming a prospector is far easier but pays far less, and also requires you to find another prospector to train you as an apprentice. Its not law or anything but its the best way to learn the skills needed. If you want more info I can direct you to the appropriate websites or youtubers.

Since everyone who is anyone and even the nobodies who are following the recent events now know that the Comex is rigged and they are willing to kill the price of silver, why would anyone ever put any paper into SLV ever again?

The damage is already done, anon. Lots of people have been redpilled by oldfags on the dangers of fiat currency during this short exposure for silver.

If, for every 10 dumb FOMO redditor tricked by thinking Silver would hit $1000 this week we have acquired one long-term stacker, I think the job is already done.

Remember, the bullion stores will need to replenish their stock. It won't be for another few months until we see the actual impact of the frenzy of the last few days actually have a real impact on the market.

The SLV spot price going down is bullshit, along with an increase in the Comex fees per contract. That right there tells you that they're afraid and can't keep up with the demand. If they stood to actually profit off of higher prices, they wouldn't increase the fees.

I bought GME @12 and sold at 14.78. I bought BB @25 and didn't put a stop limit in. I've lost enough money to buy a whole roll of silver ASEs or Krugs. BB erased all the gains I made on my portfolio from UUUU. Should I just liquidate all my equities and buy more metals? I'm not cut out for this clown market.

pretty much.
I have a baby stack since last year, and last week I doubled my stack. The difference this time was reading more about comex and seeing the industry potential of silver. It's pretty unbelievable how undervalued silver is, but it suddenly makes sense when you put the pieces together.
And now, like many noobies, I want a dragon stack.
This will be a monthly DCA from here on out, methinks. Fuck the kikes.

right now, the price for both is pretty high. Buy maybe 2 or 3 ounces of silver just in case the silver shills are right after all and it moons all the way to $1000/oz after the Comex collapses.
Beyond that, wait a little until the price of either is back to roughly pre-Corona levels.
