Slow and steady wins over fast and risky. Not only will the threat of liquidation fuck HEAVILY with your psyche and cloud your vision you will also inevitably get fucked at some point. Trust me, you can lose months of solid trading work with one bad call. Most brokers and crypto trading sites will give you the option to use leverage. That means they let you trade with more money then you have. For example you could have $10 on an account and use 10x leverage, now you can buy shit for 100$. Now if you bought something for $100 and it goes up 10% you actually make $10 profit that means doubled your investment. Sounds awesome so far, but here's the fucking catch, if the price moves 10% against you the broker/site will take over your position and liquidate it and your money is gone forever. If you buy something and it drops in value you can still wait for it to go back up again or sell at a loss, if you can liquidated the money is gone for good.

this. i spent the whole of oct/november losing my mind over the fact that i was too poor to make any moves when all of crypto tanked last year. i had none, no money to scoop anything up, LINK went from $4 to $20 in august

i buckled down and just blocked everything out. i kept buying link from $17 all the way down to $8-10 when everyone on biz was screaming to sell ironically or otherwise

bought a 400 uni stack late dec for like 5.50 each too. watching people lose their minds that they sold when they should have held or bought more is so satisfying i have no reason to look back at all.

just focus on what you know right now and what you're going to do about it. a month or two from now you won't give a fuck about what you missed or who you let talk you out of what you should have done

This. I sold, DCA'd, consolidated, and bag held weedstocks over the last 3 years. Finally narrowed everything into Aphria and got my average down to $10 CAD. Now I'm thousands in the green. Once US federal legalization takes place the sky's the limit. My worst positions have always been short term options plays. My longer plays have almost always been successful.

Support and resistance are the points where it's statistically the most likely that a price reversal occurs. Say you want to profit of something then you place your order at or near the next big resistance. Yes, you could place it higher and hope for a breakout (which often happens) but most of the times the price turns around and you miss a profit window. It's better to sell at 105 and rebuy at 90 and to sell it at 105 again than to wait for 120 forever.
