its not really practical but you can use a standard system where you have one previously verified coin or set of coins and than use a scale with those as the correct weights. if a coin does not match that weight than its less pure. Thats how money changers did it for centurys.

Rub/tap test (get used to the sound of certain coins when struck)
Weight test (easier to fake, easy to measure)
Magnet test (silver is paramagnetic and only slightly responds to external magnets)
Bleach test - Disruptive, drop of bleach on silver will cause a black oxidation spot
There are also assay guns that use backscatter electrons to determine composition.
For thicker bulk pieces like bars you really need to start doing drill and chemical assay tests.

It would probably come down to the volume of the coin and it's density. I actually did this in high-school chemistry to verify if a silver bracelet was pure or not. It's hard to fake the density and volume of silver in small coins, and the average scammer would have no idea how to properly fix it. Bigger bars you should just get accept verified sources because it is easier to fake a solid bar.

They can't keep true value from emerging forever, but I think they've got more juice than until April in them. Clown market will all pop at once. Tesla is suddenly realized to be overvalued the same moment everyone realizes USDT is backed only by foreign money and not dollars and that precious metals are seriously undervalued and that pension promises won't be paid, etc. Those few weeks will be insane, but I think we can hold it together through 2021. 2022 will be the year the inevitable happens, as weakness gives way before strength and all assets are revalued/repriced.

Consider for a moment how absurdly overpriced this market is, whether for stocks, bonds, crypto, etc.

Consider, too, just HOW MUCH money you would make if you were shorting these assets while collapsed to their actual value. It would be truly astronomical. All of the unbelievably inflated value would be transferred rather quickly from the assets themselves to those respective people who bet against them.

Understand (as you may already), however, that the only way these assets could fall so far in nominal value to fulfill that bet would be for the dollar to retain its purchasing power. Which we know will not happen.

Ultimately these assets WILL collapse to their real market value, just not nominally. Instead of the wealth being transferred to those shorting the inflated assets, it will be shifted into those who shorted the inflated currency - us.

Be patient /pmg/, WAGMI big time.

It is simply still the most undervalued asset and will 100% sure outperform any other asset for the next few years as the devaluation of FIAT continues end economy continues to shit itself. Seriously all you need to do is be patient and keep stacking. Triple digit silver is coming but it will not come in a day. you need a reloading press (single stage is the cheapest and easiest entry level option, its also the best for match grade rounds) and components (bullet, powder, casing, primer). If you're just following basic recipes from printed reloading manuals its pretty easy and theres not a ton of knowledge required. If you're trying to make your own loads, do powder/bullet substitutions and whatnot you need to know what you're doing otherwise you risk blowing up your gun and possibly your hands.

1- not all powders are the same, they have different burn rates and pressures. Doing powder swaps is a very VERY bad idea unless you know damn well what you're doing
2- bullets come in different weights and lengths. These things will heavily effect pressures
3- it requires focus. If you double charge or 0 charge a load thats a good way to fuck up everything.

Bullets are really the only DIY component unfortunately. You can buy lead and cast them. Casting its a whole other world of autism when you get into bullet shapes, temp control, alloy mixtures, and what not but its very zen desu. You cant home make smokeless powder unless you're basically a master chemist. Black powder can be done but is not useful in modern firearms unless you have no other choice. Primers can be punched out and reloaded if you know what you're doing but the methods are dubious and not always reliable to the point where you'd want to trust your life on it. Trying to diy brass is a joke and not possible without heavily specialized presses that mere mortals can't get their hands on.

And you dont need to do it in minecraft, making your own ammo is legal as hell. You just cant sell ammo you make without an 07FFL license.

in the current market getting components has been neigh impossible. During good times its usually not worth reloading common calibers (9mm/.223) as you can buy them for maybe 1-2¢ over your reloading costs and then time factors come in (9mm was like 17¢ but could be reloaded fresh for like 15¢ if you didn't cast and wern't using used brass. .223 was like 18¢/20¢). That being said its always good to stock components on those as when times are bad shit goes to the moon (9mm is like 60¢ now and .223 is like $1).

If you to match/competition shooting, serious hunting, or shoot oddball calibers reloading is a must.

not unless you know what to look for, how to safely harvest it, and how to move it. scrap is scrap for a reason. At the time whoever was dumping it decided it wasnt worth recycling for its material value and the scrapyard you'll likely be buying from also determined that they didnt want to put forth the effort of refinement. Thats not saying profit can't be made dumpster diving and digging around in junkyards, but its not a wise investement without a plan. The most valuable easy to harvest asset would be copper, but everyone knows that so its not easy to find. you also need a way of refining the valuable scrap you pick out and a market to sell it to.

>like 1/3rd of all USD printed between '08-'19.
>another 1/3rd of all USD printed in '20 with mass unemployment and economic uncertainty.
>Another few trillion likely to be printed this year
I'm no genius but anyone who thinks the USD is going to hold just seems out of touch with reality to me. It might seem high now, but i fully believe that with whats coming we might be reminicing to our grandkids about the good ol' days when silver was $30/ozt when its easily 3-4figures by then.
