You WILL report every single crypto-crypto trade you make.
You WILL report every single airdrop you receive.
You WILL report your earnings from staking rewards.

Don't mess with Uncle Sam, frens. Be a good boy and let him have his fair share.

What is an audit, anyway? If they audit me and find that I need to pay some taxes that I didn't pay, I just pay them and that's it right? Maybe a fine at worst?

Every single trade results in insane fees already - so wouldn't every trade result in a capital loss meaning ability to claim from the IRS?

Just do all your shitcoin flipping away from KYC'd exchanges and you'll be fine. Anyone who's done 20k worth of shitcoin flipping on coinbase, for example, is fucked, because they send tax info on that over to the IRS.

And even if they actually bothered to autistically delve into the blockchain and try to piece together your shitcoin swaps themselves, worst case scenario you just claim ignorance and pay them anyway with some extra fees. Whatever. The risk of that happening is minuscule anyway.
