so what do we think about the pump? if i had to guess, it's tied to Coinbase and other exchanges loading up hundreds of millions of XRP the other day and selling OTC- but who's buying? if i had to guess, banks and institutions. this all seems like a coordinated effort. possibly related to the setting up of the Turkey-Kuwait, India-UAE, Japan-Thailand payment rails and other cross-border payment companies like Ria, Cashaa, Moneytap, etc. Because each of those entities needs a reserve of XRP to use as on-demand liquidity.

I'd be curious to see what Ripple's "Line of Credit" has been up to, but I doubt they make their activity public. I think this pump was a good thing- it allowed some very big whales to spread their XRP around a bit, probably according to prior agreements/contracts similar to Jed's, where he's obligated to sell a certain amount based on market volume. The volume was 26 billion yesterday! 6 billion higher than the market cap! You realize what that means?

And, the sooner the system is all set up, the sooner it will go live, and then the price increase will happen and it won't go down again. Of course I could be engaging in wishful thinking but it seems like a story that fits with what we know.
