HERE I AM BITCHES.

For real tho, starting a disussion on the value of statera and the ecosystem gets you a ban real quick. For me that's a serious red flag for a coin and its community. Whole TG is just an echo-chamber full of smoothbrains who don't understand concepts behind this coin.

I posted some of the 5 lines of code fud (which is true) and some guy posted the github to a default erc20 token, as if "Scott" had written that. Even then, that's at most 140 lines of code lmao. Nice shit token.

Silverchad here, can I hang out with you guys if I only own 9 stanos tokens?

>> No.27365800

The way I see it is that Statera is a useless Ponzi scam token. I 3x my ethers last summer, so its good for that, but only that.

The token has no intrinsic value, its just 10 lines of code which makes it burn with every transaction (this also makes it impossible for exchanges to list the token).

The team is only concerned with using the community to get more people to buy it, as there is 0 development to be done to the token. Also the team is quite anonymous and basically made a killing already. Now they're also begging for help with marketing. You'd have to be real desperate to invest in this.

Again there is 0 utility offered by the token and it has NO value proposition. It lifts on the innovations made by balancer and uniswap, but even in those funds, it is not required or needed in any way.

Yes, the token does provide more liquidity in the pools its added in, but active traders (new buyers) still have to actively buy it.

Thus active traders (bots or users) are needed to trade with balancer pool and uniswap pool to rebalance it, otherwise there is nothing left of the ecosystem. If you have no buyers for statera, the whole system collapses, as there is NO INTRINSIC value for the token.

>but muh bitcoin
is a first mover and a staple in global economics now, tradable everywhere in high liquidity. Nobody is waiting on a burning shitcoin on uniswap. About burning, statera used to be 'the burntoken' but this project failed without bal and uni.

For statera price to go up, you need more buyers than sellers, even with the burn function and liq pools. This the only reason to buy this, is hoping that more buyers buy it after you, so that the value is higher then when you bought; i.e an actual ponzi. There is 0 incentive to hold the token or to buy it other than to hope more people are buying after you.

>> No.27365818

>>27364680
Like I said, STA is just a standard ERC-20 token with one added feature. On its own it's not all that stellar
But when you add it to liquidity pools it does great things. Yes Balancer and Uniswap are on that list, but it's not limited to just those
This is all common knowledge. You're not blowing the lid off a scam here. Everyone knows what Statera does and how it functions, and we're here because of that, not despite it

>>27367804
Only incentive to buy STA is to speculate that enough people buy after you, so that you benefit from the tokens they burn and that it rises the price.

For many other coins there are other incentives, such as utility, nodes, staking, payments, some sort of protocol or network which provides utility etc. etc. For sta it is literally a ponzi.

The only extra opportunity for arb and rebalancing is for STA vs a pool without STA, but with just wBTC/ETH/SNX. Also while STA may not have staking in the traditional sense, it has something extremely similar. Let me explain
If you hold STA and want to earn more STA, all you have to do is add liquidity to the Infinity Pool. In this pool you have 100% exposure to STA, and also earn estimated 6% APY. This is actually better returns than most POS coins, and all the while the total supply is decreasing instead of increasing. I'd argue that is superior to standard POS coins

Statera doesn't necessarily need new adoption for the price to increase. Because price is dictated by supply, and if the community pools -- the price goes up as the marketcap remains stable. However, new adopters continue this cycle -- add more liquidity to the pools, and increase the overall token burn and further increase the pricing pressure of the token itself at the same time.

wSTA in the pool creates more volume by introducing arb/burn between the wSTA/STA pair. The other assets in the pool will always have volume which throws off the ratio of the pool and will have to rebalance

"The value proposition of Balancer flows from two main features:
Even as the relative unit prices of the tokens vary, the pool as a whole is continuously rebalanced (in an efficient market) to maintain each token's proportion of the total value.
Each trade that takes place in a Balancer Pool generates a fee for the pool owner. The fee is a percentage of the trading volume, and is customizable by the pool owner when the pool is created."

Literally right in the balancer docs

Balancer works without Statera, yes.

Statera increases upward price pressure in balancer pools and it's been well established that pools with Statera within them have higher APY than other pools. If you are using balancer for a portion of your portfolio, you should seriously consider getting Statera. It's more important than the BAL governance token listed on Coinbase.

>> No.27389335

>>27385985
It’s bullshit because arb bots will do the trading if no one else will. It’s free money for those, just gas fees being too high reduces profitability. It will make the poolers and arbers rich as STA has the ability to create arbing opportunities out of thin air because of the deflation/delta/wsta.
>>27384376
Except for it creating money for everyone participating in the ecosystem, here’s another valid point if you REALLY need something it would “solve”. It solves the volatility problem. If new projects with low volume try to enter the space they are screwed by their early growing pains of low volume. It is safe for them to grow in an incubator of index funds with a constant price pressure from statera that also provides balanve and txn fees to make it all palatable. Every digital asset will want to be balanced by statera as there would be no downside and a large upside, this would in turn make it feasible for digital assets to be included into Vanguards, S&P500 funds, and all boomer hedge and index funds.

We also don’t know if they actually even paid for it or if they somehow made Balancer pay for it. Statera team pointed out the issue before the flashloan attacker could make the attack happen and Balancer did nothing, so maybe the STA team blackmailed Balancer and made them pay for it all and took credit.

Statera, then pool it in a pool that already includes those three and you are supporting and betting on it all.

You'll get the APY from pooling regardless of when you enter. What is so hard for you retards to understand? That's like saying traditional index funds are a ponzi.

The fundamentals have been there from the start but the support and resilience of the community are just retardedly strong. We were trending on cg several times, reddit and youtube are starting to notice the project as well. People who are invested in statera right now are literally visionaries in the sense that they can see what the future will be like before it actually happens. It's obvious to us but most people just don't have the ability to understand it and will FOMO in once it begins to explode.

Yea, it's quite upsetting when you know how it'll play out and you're trying to tell everyone about it and most either don't get it or they simply do not give a shit. In hindsight, it will be obvious. Well, I at least feel some sense of serenity knowing that I'm not the only one capitalizing on it, best autistic community in the crypto space.

I understand where the fees come from in the infinity uniswap pool, but where do they come from in Stanos? Are people actually trading in that pool eg WSTA for WETH? Why would anyone do that instead of Uniswap?

I know the feeling exactly. Almost feel like I could have written half of what you people wrote. I have the same sense and vision of how this project will be a central part of the DeFi landscape. A lot of why people can't see how special this is is because they don't understand how it provides a simple yet elegant solution for a problem that hasn't even materialized yet (but is inevitable) for a huge market (Instutional investors) who are starting to dip their toes in the crypto waters.

Dammit the more I think about it I am going to buy more. We are all gonna make it huge and our success will be far greater an achievement than simply making (a shit load) of money

lots is due to arbitrage. that pool's prices don't automatically follow market rates, it's all a mathematical equation. so as the market changes elsewhere, it incentives arbitragers to trade within that pool until prices are even and there's no more arbitrage opportunity. but it's also an endless cycle because it's deflationary so the price is constantly changing.
