Alright bros a lot of guys post bullshit here to make a quick buck but I'm gonna give you an inside scoop that'll make you all fucking trillionaires.

Norwegian Airlines was one of the most popular airlines in Norway until the coof virus hit, when it hit, the stock plummeted into fucking oblivion, and now that the world is starting to get its shit back together, the price is slowly going back up. Once it goes back to its stable route you could right now see an increase to somewhere around 75x your original price. Fucking buy this shit and hold onto it like fucking Gollum with the Ring.
This has been cashanon signing out, good luck out there fellas. \\o//

The thing about Norwegian is that while they're a Norwegian company, they've been operating out of tax havens and having their employees work out of an Irish subsidized company on slave wages. This obviously means that Norwegian has been dodging a massive amount of Norwegian taxes and treating their employees like shit.

Because of this, the norwegian government (and the norwegian people) are extremely fucking reluctant to bail out Norwegian Air. Because why the fuck do they deserve our tax money when they worked so fucking hard for years to dodge as much taxes as possible?

as somebody with an outsider perspective from straya, Norwegian Air sounds like a nation airline, even if the government has no financial stake in it, the very NAME of the airline makes it seem that it already is apart of the country, you may be correct in your understanding of the sentiment the norwegian people and government feel about this shoddy airline, but the rest of the world dont know all this information and can you imagine how bad it will look for your entire COUNTRY to the rest of the world if 'Norwegian air goes bankrupt' people are going to assume that norway is fucked too now simply because of that name... it will probably have a ripple effect that is terrible for the countries image especially one that is supposed to be so 'progressive' when it comes to helping its citizens.
this alone makes me think that at some stage, the norwegian government will simply be reluctantly forced to bail out this airline for the sake of their own image, or else look like they are falling apart on the national stage

they have been in talks for a long time and the norwegian government will not bail out norwegian airlines without getting a very good deal for doing it (at the expense of justed shareholders), or a deal would already have been made.

SAS is the premium airline company of scandinavia also responsible for a lot of subsidized routes. Norwegian is however just another cheap airline company that no one cares about.

While also destroying the market with unsustainable budget prices. NOR basically tried to kill off all competitors in a price war, hoping that they would be the only ones left standing and would somehow get bailed out of their massive debt.

The Chinese alone will make up for any fall in the western market.
And even with carbon taxing, they're going to come out with just more efficient planes in the coming decades.
Everyone loves to travel, normies especially, and they will so long as they can afford it. Moral grandstanding won't change that.

Swedish here, my dad who doesn't have that much experience with the stock market said that it would be a pretty smart move to invest in airlines in general so that once this pandemic stuff is gone the airlines will be booming because of the people that are sick of the cabin fever.

I'm still skeptical about Norwegian, even though they got that "loan" from China in early 2020. I bought a few stocks from them in December because they were cheap.
