If you mean real life as in meatspace, then probably nothing unless under special circumstances. Online? It's literally every degenerate criminals coin of choice and that makes the coin worth something.

People haven't realized the utility of complete anonymity yet. We're likely to see one more big correction in the next coming weeks. Gives you a chance to HODL more Monero. See you on Kraken then, brothers.

>> No.27323063

Crypto has been co-opted into just another form of stock for years now, and that is the majority of the attention given to it, so no.
People stream on their IoT tvs using linked accounts, have amazon and google in their home linked to their real name and addresses, and freely share every minute detail of their lives to other people who are too busy talking and not listening because they are in the same narcissistic dopamine hit loop of seeking validation, so this data is only valued by data harvesting bots really. Privacy is a luxury few will miss until it's really gone, and I want to invest in it before everyone wakes up to that value too late.

We care, but it doesn't go up in price because it's not a coin people like to hold. Most just buy it when they need to transfer funds in a private way, so it's constantly being exchanged for BTC and other coins.

It represents what actual success a crypto can expect: it does what it's supposed to do and people use it as such, and the market values it fairly. Speculation causes pumps, real world use and you may as well trade boomer stocks

no one's saying it's difficult, just not efficient. normies don't want to go about transferring from exchange to wallet, they don't even want to do the 5 minutes of research to find out that there are exchanges other than cuckbase.
not having xmr be instantly purchasable for lazy retards is a huge bottleneck on its value.

Can you buy a subscription to an onlyfans page with monero? Thought so. Crypto exchanges are not different than stocks trading with the single exception that you can mine them if you invest heavily in equipment. These things don't have a single usecase outside of paying darknet hackers to do corporate espionage, but if you can to those circles you may as well take a crack at it yourself. The moment crypto gets adopted by a bank is the moment it becomes fiat with a skin.
