You have to look at the options sold for AMC, options typically expire on Friday, so that's when everything will ramp up...

Looking at this chart:

There are 26k sold with a strike price of $15. If the price is above $15 as we approach Friday, than anyone who sold an option will want to buy shares ASAP, because the higher the price goes, the more they lose... It's better to buy at $16 and lose a dollar than to wait... buy at $25, and lose $10...

There are also 32k for a $20 strike price, and a whopping 46k at $40...

Basically... if I'm interpreting this correctly... AMC is locked, cocked, and ready to fucking rock. ESPECIALLY if it can get above 40 as we get close to Friday.
