Don't think wallstreet doesn't know how to play, they are ahead and are actually even sympathizing with you lot for the gigantic blunder you all committed. There will be a heavy price to be paid for this lesson for sure lmao.

It's unironically a really good investment. I'd say you're basically guaranteed to double your money.

It is unironically. The concept of the theater is not dead, because it is an experience that streaming to a living room can't beat unless you invest $20,000 or more into just to even come close to. Not everyone has that type of cash to put down on a home theater. In the long term, it would be worth holding onto AMC.

>> No.27255181

>>27254691
hes right lol youre being memed into a bagholder if you think this is a long hold. you really think theatres will surge back to life this summer for

>Minions Pt. 8
>Top Gun Remake
>The Purge: RePurgening
>Disney's Jungle Cruise

hollywood hasnt been shooting because the coof. the main marvel storyline is ended and their next movie is a prequel for an already dead stronk wamen character with no superpowers. its over for theatres get your money next week frens

Honestly this was a really dumb short to begin with.
They were shorting while is was way under at 3-4.
Obviously they wanted to use their coordinated market manipulation to crash the business for their own profits.
With was 30 a couple years ago, and while probably not worth that now, it is still undervalued even now, while they continue to double down on shorts.
Once restrictions lift they will be flooded with the movies Hollywood has been holding back, and people eager to go out.
Not to mention they are using this to pay off debts while still keeping themselves heavily shorted to keep the pressure up.
If you look at the largest holders, you can also see Fidelity is the largest, and Vanguard at 3, who both refuse to restrict trading.
