its usually too deep to reach without major salvage equipment that has to be on station for weeks on end. you cant just drop a giant clam bucket down on a ship wreck and pull up treasure, you need to do it carefully to preserve what you find. Pretty straightforward, just keep doing more advanced courses. Depends on what certifying organisation you go through, there are pathways to be certified as a technical diver.

I think most importantly is to be part of a community, that way you get invited to trips.
