Hi OP, trying to help. I would honestly just buy ETH. It's going to be the safest bet. Some of the faster moves by smaller coins will be tempting but if you want to not fuck anything up, just buy ETH. You WILL make money.

Once you've made money, exchange however much you want into USDC, then you can decide what to do from there. If Bitcoin goes down in price, buy bitcoin with the USDC, or reinvest in more ETH. If you're struggling I'd only start fucking with the non ETH alt-coins once you've got a bag of $$$ from your initial ETH investment.
