In the casino odds are never in your favour, but in the stock market you choose them yourself. Though truth be told: you're probably too stupid to do so.

Yes and no. It is gambling, but more like horse betting.

If you buy good solid companies, you get growth and dividends. Better yet, put into an ETF that holds solid companies so your risk is spread across many companies. It's not really gambling, you are buying part of established businesses.

Gambling is just playing a game of chance. The game itself doesn't do anything on its own, unlike a business which sells goods and services and makes profits.

it's like Texas hold 'em. There is luck but you can also be good at poker.

Stock Market is like playing poker with millions of people all at the same time. Obviously less than 10% of players are going to win. And the big boys can see your hand so don't bet against them.

Look at it this way newfag.

I view the stock market as BlackJack. You increase your odds of winning by counting cards.

Same with stock. You do your research, read some MEME lines and boom. You make money!

The stock market is actually literally always in your favor. If you just left your money in an index fund, it would grow without you doing anything. Even when it dips, all you have to do is just hold through the bad years.
