Okay, the hysteria is starting to slow down and biz is becoming somewhat tolerable again. If you're new but still lurking, it means you may have the curiosity and autism required to make it. In simpler terms, you have been filtered. If you have any questions for successful oldfags, here's your chance.

But if I were the kind of person who wants more holdings for whatever reason, then besides those 3, I'd keep a 20% stack of defi blue chips: AAVE and SNX + whatever else you want to gamble on.You need to understand that Chainlink is CRITICAL to the adoption of smart contracts, which is where all the value in blockchain tech lies, and it's being driven by the most ruthlessly ambitious, professional and connected team in the whole space; while few outside of this place even understand the implications.

In 2016-2017 there were a million projects that had great plans and then tanked because the fundamentals were just not there yet and now there are tons of bag holders. Also learn to read signals. Twitter is basically where 90% of market signals are now, for better or for worse. If you have tweet deck open and Elon puts bitcoin in his bio, go long asap. Similarly, if someone announces a global pandemic, get ready for a crash. Another tip, if you’re watching exchange twitters for listings you can often beat the crowd for a few %. When I buy from coinbase I can send my crypto to another crypto platform. With Revolut you cant do that, your crypto is stuck on revolut and can imly be sold back to Revolut. Also they charge a little extra above the actual price there so you get less for your money.
>>27181565>Isn't it feasible if a certain crypto kept issuing more tokens and diluting to keep the token price steady/fixed, regardless of growing MC?Most coins have methods to avoid this unless their intent is to maintain a stable price. Some have a fixed supply at launch, some have to be mined at a predetermined rate which gives a reliable rate of inflation, some have methods to destroy tokens at certain times or as a percentage of each transaction to cause the supply to continually decrease. And there are coins where the dev team can literally create and sell tokens whenever they want to make some more money.

>>27182240Generally yes, but as always do your own research. Legit projects are always very open regarding their tokenomics and will if/how/when new tokens are created/destroyed, and also how the supply is managed. It's less of a worry with established projects, but you obviously don't want to buy into a crypto where the dev team owns 90% of the supply and are just wanting for their opportunity to dump it and get rich. That aside, crypto works like everything else, and where there is a demand and a limited supply, price will rise. The use case for any given coin will affect how this works exactly; the demand might be from pure speculation on the part of buyers, or the coin might be used for trading on an exchange, or as payment for services, or whatever else. A coin with a big supply and no real use is probably not a good investment in the long term, as people who aped into DOGE and SHIBA and didn't take their profits when they should have are learning.

Coinbase charges massive transaction fees depositing fiat to buy crypto. Also don't count on coinbase processing your transaction during high volume moments. Never used Crypto.com so can't comment. Overall I'd just say Binance. Funds are SAFU. Personally wouldn't bother with stonks unless it's a product you're interested in and understand as a long term investment. For me personally I've invested in Tesla and some of ARK invests ETF's, I highly you recommend you give them a look. Tesla might be meme stock for reddit at the moment however I still believe they are closest to building fully autonomous transport which will be the paradigm shift for the whole transport industry. Invest in BTC, ETH and LINK, do so by (and I cannot stress this enough) DOLLAR COST AVERAGING in. Be weary of projects that show up here and are shilled relentlessly. That doesn’t mean disregard them entirely but tread with caution. A decent strategy would be having a spreadsheet of projects shilled here and tracking their performance. What qualities stand out about those that do well? Who was involved in those that did well? My very basic understanding is that the devs do have a shitton of the supply that they regularly dump, and it has a stabilizing effect on the price. The LINK holders seem split on whether this is a good thing that lets them accumulate more or a bad thing that is depriving them of potential profits.

>>27184361The consensus I believe is that that portion of the supply is being held to sell to institutions who will eventually be wanting to operate chainlink nodes. Sergey has been angling link at business rather than meme coin skateboard antics
>>27184406I used to believe in GRT too and if you've got a lot of capital (+50kj in grt) delegating can make you nice passive income, discounting the usual crypto swings. There are better and faster ways to make money in crypto though.
>>27174723Did i get memed on GME or wtf They said the squeeze happened Friday Now it’s Monday What the fuck I’m selling Monday while I’m still up 1000$ fuck you all
>>27184330Won't be make it money but buying a fancy car is nigger tier retardation. Money to buy a fancy car is money that can be re-invested. You will never make it by spunking on material bullshit. Buy what you need to keep you sane but you need to be preparing to make short term sacrifice
Stellar Lumens, shit or not shit? Why or why not?

>>27184515The bare minimum that you need to buy to avoid wanting to rope when your crypto moons.
>>27184688Good use case but tokenomics won't make you rich. Will most likely never surpass XRP
GDI, I don’t even know why I’m saying all this but do not limit yourself to one exchange and just always have a vpn on if you’re a burger. The onus is on exchanges to not let you in, not vice versa. If you’ve kyc’ed on binance, just set up a new international account. You can legit make money just via arbitrage and new exchange listings. People are too lazy to be on multiple exchanges so promising/trending projects will pump just on a huobi listing, for example. Arbitrage is possible too. Btw, trx is a shitcoin but you can often transfer money via tron for dirt cheap. Binance chain sometimes too. Just be careful not to send from ethereum to bep etc.
>>27184466>>27184466On the exchange you'd only be paying the exchange's fees for trading. On Metamask you're paying fees for the network you're using - i.e. gas on the Ethereum network. You can use your MM wallet to swap on Uniswap, or similar Dex - but you'll be paying MUCH more in fees.
>>27183836>Pro tip: you can often also spy on people via their wallets if you’re clever enough.I've been trying to do some basic wallet exploration on coins that look promising but I haven't been at it yet to really draw good conclusions from what I'm seeing. Is it possible to see incoming pumps by watching accumulation on dead coins, or are there just too many coins to make this feasible?
>>27184395also kraken disables exchange when a coin is hot
>>27184862>>27184515Stacks may help provide reference for what anons think a coin may reach value wise, but ultimately you should just buy as much as you can afford to, and if you understand and believe in the fundamentals continue to buy more and accumulate. Don't obsess over a stack in one certain coin and leave yourself without any kind of diversity.
>>27184862As in making how much exactly? 1M?
>>27184984I’m not gonna really answer your question but here’s a tip: let’s say bao does amazing. It might not be a bad idea to see what the first 10 wallets that held bao are buying now.
>>27184948so basically I need to set up a kraken account and the transfer into my wallet, probably get a cold wallet to so i can hodlthanks fren
>>27184563Stop taking reddit advice and research how a gamma and short squeeze work. It's entirely possible for a short squeeze to see 6 figures, however it's entirely possible the market is manipulated into oblivion and jews win again.
>>27181209since posting that link, ive just been reading up on a myriad of different topics for the past hour. thanks lol
So new lurker here, but is coin like investing in a project? I don't entirely understand how it's a currency. You can't go buy milk with eth right? Excuse my sheer autism
>>27174723GTFO, THIS IS A DOGE BOARD NOW
>>27184206Thanks for that last one I didn’t refresh>>27183547>>27183547Thanks fellow bongaloid. I rate Tesla and I get you about stonks and long term, I can get behind some brands that make sense to me or am familiar with in industry. I’m sold on the actual big boy coins which I hope to buy in on the little dips they have sporadically. It’s the way I run my life I literally don’t pay for anything full price or close to, patient like that desu.I’m going to see how far I get playing with small amounts with shitcoins as I have literally fuck loads of time (extra comfy night shift self employed fag and I’m tired of /pol/) I have a £300pm accountant and investment broker at my disposal that I pay for anyway (never used the former apart from sorting my meagre pension and life insurance). I don’t plan dumping all my savings into anything other than a second house. I will not watch shills on YouTube with thumbnails looking like S O Y fags or stonks memes for views. MY TERMINOLOGY HOMEWORK> what is DOLLAR COST AVERAGING>what is small market cap (glass ceiling?)>PRICE ACTION>what is ARK/ETF’s/defi
>>27185107Ah, smart smart. I've been ignoring ftx since it claims to be illegal in the U.S. and all the interesting tokens aren't available on the U.S. site. Is this something I should actually care about, or just hit up a vpn and go in?
>>27185107Real noob question probably but where can I track this sort of wallet movements? Also, since you seem to have made it, where would you put $1k right now? I'll do my own research, no worries.
>>27185436Wrong this is a pho board now. Pho.io
Any vet's thoughts on LTO? Sounds legit and exciting but I have a gut feeling that I'm getting shilled.
>>27185107Thanks for all the advice, by the way. While you're here, how long did it take you to hit a mil and how much did you start with?
