SWIFT is still used, ffs, and it's insecure as fuck (banks get rolled over with it all the time, especially in smaller nations). But SWIFT gpi is in the works (basically SWIFT 2.0), so why would banks and nations move away from a strong trust system they already have and are improving upon to a purely decentralized, secure oracle based system?
