unfortunately its not that easy to actually get a base silver mine up and running because of these lower prices. Plenty of silver exploration work is going on last year and into this year, but if silver goes down again than the supply chains going to be even weaker without new deposits opened up. No mining company like Hecla for example wants to start a mine at 14$ an ounce silver when they can leave it in the ground for $31.
