I understand the stock perspective, but strictly in regards to robinhood and trading dollar amounts for %'s of cryptos available on their market.

The end user does not have access to the actual chains they request to purchase which is the whole value from what I've informed myself on.

Who's to say Robinhood isnt able to process these chain creation requests and are backlogged on their balance sheets.

From what I understand, the lenders these institutes are provided loans from, diversify their investments to manage risks. Some of those investments can be high-risk/reward options for play on the backend to improve comissions.

There's no identical platform in terms of intended use. Robinhood was meant for people looking to dump their stimulus checks into random stocks without much care about building a portfolio. That being said, I've had no issues using Schwab. Their mobile app is OK, is a bit annoying to boot up but works just fine. Fidelity is also another good option.
