I cant sell after hours and this is shit I don’t feel safe holding this shit. I’m up 500% on gme and was up like 500% on crypto at the same time.

THEY CALL THEMSELVES SMG

Roiling markets, bankrupting hedge funds, and causing chaos on Wall Street

> Fuck Hedgies
> Break the Banks
> Crashing this economy with no survivors
These are just some of the posts from darkweb forums, where a shadowy collection of individual investors are driving stocks through the roof -- and driving established investors mad.
They've bought millions of shares in failing videogame retailer Gamestop, causing hedge funds who bet against the company to lose millions of dollars -- and those investors say it's not a game anymore.

- EHang down 30% from top when it was shilled.
- TIGR down 20% (was shilled around $19)
- NIO - this one is up actually by 30%. Dunno if it's organic shilling then instead of pumpers.

Be careful watching BlackRock picks. BlackRock makes money selling ETFs, so their imperative is to create more ETFs to sell and collect fees on. The way you get more ETFs is making themed ETFs for different markets/regions/whatever.

Because of this, BlackRock just buys fucking everything in large quantities. They don't buy companies because they think those companies will be profitable. They buy companies because they have specific ETFs that company fits into. BlackRock doesn't care if an investment makes or loses money because that result is borne by everyone invested in the ETF. BlackRock will buy dogshit if it fits into an ETF they're selling.

BlackRock is kind of like the Borg. They just want to own everything so everyone has to invest through them.

Anon, when pumps go public it means they are already in dump state. Pump might be prolonged by hype of unsuspecting crowd, but it's huge gamble on your side to join it.
Don't blame yourself. If you didn't commit to any of those, it means you didn't feel comfortable and rather chosen to be safe. Don't blame your past yourself for this. Just imagine how many times you would get burnt on pump n dump if you always trusted them unconditionally.
Still, I hope you will eventually find one that works out for you fren. Just please, don't be hard on yourself. Hindsight is awful, be more forgivable to the past yourself.
You must keep your mind clear if you want to be good investor, don't dwell on past, just learn what signs you missed so you recognize them better in future. And success will follow eventually.

I started a transfer to Fidelity but that shit will take until NEXT FUCKING FRIDAY to be complete. And even then, I put everything I have into NIO and PLTR hoping there will be some profit to be made, so even when it deposits it will take until the following Monday to be available to trade. I could've been in the hundred of thousands right if I held what I put in around Christmas and could be at 1 million if this shit actually does make it to 1k.

At the end of all of this, I will always hate the jew. If my son should want to marry a jew I will disown him. If I should work with a jew I will do everything to leave him. The next move on Monday might be to scan for short movements across the market to see if they are now shorting the mid cap or low cap stocks that saw drops. at the end of the day you just have to take the chance some times. the main key is to be early, but to be early you have to say "fuck it" at some point and pull the trigger, knowing that you could potentially be wrong. but by getting in early your downside risk is much lower than your upside potential as long as you're patient.

GME was mocked relentlessly when it dumped to $6 after the ER last year. it wasn't easy to dump your whole life savings into it then, no one could foresee this happening like it is now. but the DD was good and i knew the consoles were coming out, they weren't going bankrupt any time soon because their debt situation was great, and ryan cohen got involved.

that said, i bought at $7 and sold when some anon's FUD'd about it "crashing" from 9 to 8-ish, and then bought back at $10 and held for literally months. it went up to $15 on the MSFT news and i sold half to protect myself, 50% is a good gain i thought, and i only owned 100 shares at the time. then i watched it go to 20 and dump and 20 and dump like 4 times and i just held and felt shitty. eventually i sold at 20 and then the ryan cohen board member shakeup happened and it skyrocketed to 40 and i thought "oh well i missed out".

i bought back in at 70 on the dump from 160 and got stopped out at 84 when it barely broke the low of day after. i bought back in at 90 when it started going up above VWAP and just held it. i sold at 440 when i heard the RH delisting news.

I'm just saying: it's not easy. Hope my story imparts some wisdom on the matter. people like deepfuckingvalue are fucking insane btw.

GME DD was good, but for it to happen you needed thousands of people to buy shares. Once people jumped on board week ago it became clear that it is actually happening. I realized this at $80. It was unique in a sense that it was dommed to succeed at this point, so risk was lower in my mind. I actually put 100% of my portfolio into it at that point.
Usually pump n dumps are different. Pumpers announce them right after buying cheapies and pumping a little. Those are much more risky, because once selloff happens, stock price can plummet 50-80% in seconds.

https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190819005633/en/Scion-Asset-Management-Urges-GameStop-to-Buy-Back-238-Million-of-Stock-with-Cash-on-Hand
>Given the market capitalization of GameStop at $290 million at the close on August 15th, completing the authorization would retire over 80% of GameStop’s outstanding shares. Depending on the timing and quality of execution, such a repurchase would increase earnings per share dramatically - far more than any other possible action on a per share basis.

im always interested in strategizing around high probability setups, especially buy the rumor sell the news ones. as long as it's consistent i wouldn't mind being able to buy a PnD and selling on strength instead of trying to time the top. the question is how consistently does something like that work? that idk. but idk how to find the PnD's in the first place besides here and WSB i guess, so i don't get much opportunity in that respect.

I browse /smg/ and try to evaluate which ones are dumps and which are honest recommendations. I don't hunt pumps, because those usually happen on closed discord groups. My simpliest filter is if stock grown more than 20% in past few days and someone says that it's going to moon soon. I don't take risks like that.
The only pumps I even hop on are the ones I see are overhyped and will for sure grow. But even then I'm conservative and pay out half of shares after small increase (10-20%). Sounds like small amount of money, but it's better to take small gain every time than to risk losing 50-80% of your portfolio because of greed.

CRASH COURSE IN PURCHASING OPTIONS
>Imagine someone put 100 shares in a sealed box that needs to be opened by X date.
>That box is an option.
>The shares are valuable because if you exercise the option, you unwrap the box and you get the shares for the price you bought them at, but only worthwhile if the price of shares changes to the strike price you picked or better.
>ie when ANON is worth $150, you could open your call box of 100 shares worth $1 and be in the position for much cheaper.

>The option/the box itself is valuable because other people would like the advantage described. You can sell your box to somebody else.
>The closer the price of shares are to your strike price compared to the shares in your box makes your box more valuable than what you purchased it at.
>Since options expire, your box will lose value on the market as there is less and less time for other parties to possess it safely.
>You don't have to meet your strike price to profit from selling the box, you just need to be closer than when you started within a certain timeframe.

>Selling the box is common. Opening the box is less so but is worthwhile for the right circumstances.
>Timing the market fucking sucks however and this is why options are considered gambling far more than shares are.

Once you know what puts and calls are the rest make sense just by reading them
the other strategies are just different ways to use calls and puts in a trade and hopefully lower your risk exposure.
For example a vertical call spread is a way to buy multiple call options at different strike prices, this way you can have some safer calls and some riskier calls at the same time
calendar spreads are the same but with date, you could have some that expire this week that are safer and some that expire next week which are riskier

Am I the only one panicing about the US stock market crashing and we're entering another depression?

I actually went out for once today to the supermarket and everything looked hella expensive.

They arent going to raise the rates. But there will be a big dip soon, but probably not yet.
Two main scnearios:
>We crab for a while then it starts going down gradually with a few big red days.
>We continue to climb up until everyone has put there money in the market and then it will all collapse in a spectacular fashion.
