You put it in a liquidity pool with a basket of other cryptos "an index fund". The pool balances the cryptos by buying and selling depending on best and worst performing like an ETF. But because of Statera being deflationary after an event of rebalancing, there is now a 1% imbalance and the ratios have to be balanced again, resulting in more volume and bigger returns than in other pools. The burn and balancing ripples throughout the entire Statera ecosystem between all the pools.

Do you plan to pool on Uniswap or Balancer? You can find the pools at stateratoken.com , with descriptions of each pool. The fees are higher on Balancer because you have to set up a proxy which is like 50-100 dollars, although it's only a one-time thing. Uniswap is cheaper and has no proxy needed to set-up. But Balancer has Stanos which is the best performing and most popular pool in the community. Just click the link on the statera website and it'll take you to the page to add liquidity. You need to connect your metamask wallet which is done in the top right corner regardless if you choose Balancer or Uniswap. When unpooling, there will be a button that says "remove liquidity".

That's the main Balancer pool for the coin in this thread. It will maintain a ratio of 50% wrapped Statera and 12.5% of everything else that's in the pool: BTC ETH LINK SNX
And the advantage is we get more volume and APY than other Balancer pools of the same size because our main asset is deflationary.
So right there you get a perfect bullrun portfolio that earns more trading fees than normal.

infinity gives you more, in fact 100% sta exposure, SO lets assume sta moons way harder then the 4 other pool assets, you would lose 50% on your sta gains while sitting in stanos from the beginning with your full stack. Thats why you pool into it over time, its a gamble that sta outperforms every other pool asset but i think its very possible.

It's not free. You put your capital to work providing liquidity. When your capital is in the pool you can't do anything else with it; i.e. there's an opportunity cost. You have to receive something in return for pooling versus embarking on some other venture with your money.

If I've previously pooled on Balancer - setting up the proxy etc - I understand that I can then add and subtract from that pool without having to pay the setup fees again; i.e. it's a one-time setup fee.
But do you know if I can also add and subtract from OTHER Balancer pools I've never been in before without incurring the setup fee again? Or do you have to pay for every pool you want to join?

What pool are you thinking? If you're in it for long term Infinity Pool is awesome. But quite incosinstent, right now it's at 17% APY but sometimes it has been as low as 3%. If you plan on holding for at least 6 months I think it's worth it. On the other hand, if you just want big returns, check out Delta. That pool is really awesome and has crazy 565% APY today, generally around 25% APY. Yea... I think you should probably do Delta. Infinity is oversaturated kinda and pooling in Uniswap the gas fees are way lower than Balancer.

The founding fathers would write "an historic"

>> No.27045540

Already talked about this last night.

It depends on where you're from and how hard you pronounce this "h" in history whether a historic or an historic SOUNDS more correct.

In some places the "h" is more silent and therefore "an historic" reads more correct. In places where people speak faster, like in the NE, this is often said. In places like the south where people generally speak slower, the H comes out more, making "an historic" seem ridiculous.
