I have only seen this for fractional shares. I'm 99% certain this is just robinhood not accurately quoting the filled value. What really happened was they filled more than one order for fractional shares as a basket at (0.311993*1024.03)= $319.49. So there's hypothetically someone out there who got filled for 0.688007 at 464.37. But more likely it's split among a bunch of smaller fractions. If there were really whole shares being filled at over $1k we'd see it not only on level 2 but also in the price action.

Fractional shares don't exist.
You have to buy or sell as 1 whole share.
What RH does is that they hold their own reserve of shares which they can then give out in fractions.

Example. RH has 3 shares.
RH can give Bob and Joe 0.25 and 0.75 each because they own the shares to back up those fractional shares.
So even if Bob and Joe sell their fractions, RH has enough volume to "sell" the share for them.
When a stock is highly volatile and in demand like GME. Now RH has no volume.

So if Bob now wants to sell 0.25 but RH has no reserves to "buy". They will need to find another person with 0.75 of the share to complete one share to sell it as a whole on the market. That is what is happening and why fractional shares are being executed at profit limits.
